Nicely done! I usually enjoy fics like this that show missing scenes and give us an bit of added insight. This one is no exception. Perfect. :)

I only had time to read this now. Am still feeling raw and heartbroken from the episode and this fic cheered me up a little. Thank you. I love your style of writing.

Yeah that episode was a bit of a killer, wasn't it? Still, I'm optimistic for the future of this pairing. I'm a sucker for the angst as well which helps!

Another man might have thought wildly of fate and destiny at seeing his wishes so quickly granted but Arthur, always used to getting what he wanted in life, merely smiled at his good luck.

Haha, what a brilliantly in character line.
Apart from that a very bittersweet, and very well written fic. Really enjoyed it.

I'm glad you mentioned that line, because it's actually my favourite bit of this. It was the one thing I'd written that really made me think, "yeah that's definitely in character for Arthur," which gave me the confidence to post this.
