Age (If there is a change): 36. I headcanoned his birthday somewhere in Late July when I'm always out of town.

Canon point changes :None. Another year or so has passed since the end of the Lylat war.

Additional history that happened since the last application (their history at the school before they left, what happened and caused them to return):
It started off as just a temporary trip to match recorded data with his returning memories and get everything straight in his head. However, he didn't plan ahead on what to do after that was accomplished. Plans didn't go so straightforward after all. Leon was greeted happily by people who considered him as a friend, his good friend Wolf was still on the premesis, and then he had personal dealings with three particular people.

The first of them was Falco Lombardi, which he one day saw strutting around campus. Deciding to keep his old human form as a disguise for a while, Leon did interact with the avian, wondering if he'd figure it out quickly, but then Leon impatiently revealed himself at a graduation ceremony speech and a bloody fight broke out during the prom. The fight was nostalgic, but slicing up a student would be very bad for Leon's current image at Smash. After months of switching insults and emitting frustrations at each other, Falco and Leon finally called a truce for a while. This looked bad for Leon's past image, but what's there for them to fight over anymore, anyway?

The falcon soon took off. How annoying.

Slippy Toad was someone Leon avoided contact with since the night at the hospital when the frog discovered Leon's past mission attempt to kill his father, Beltino Toad. Leon and Slippy had actually began to bond over that year and he became someone the Chameleon could be comfortable around despite being a member of the rival team, and when Leon later realized the family connection between Slippy and Beltino, he decided to keep mum about it. They were able to rebuild ties again eventually, but since this happened during the time of Falco's burning rage against the lizard, Leon and Slippy had to keep their friendship a secret from him. Leon doesn't know if Falco ever found out yet.

Leon was handling his ninety-nine problems pretty well, but it turned out a bitch really was one of them after all. In a literal sense. He was approached by long-time co-worker Blacky the Umbreon, who's shown much dismay at the fact that Leon had disappeared without warning for fourteen months. Feeling completely over his previous one-sided romantic obsession with her, they've spent a lot of time together as best friends who could confide in each other for anything. Along with that, he also vowed to protect the Umbreon when needed and promised not to leave without warning(her) again. By the end of the year, stronger feelings returned again, he moved in on her while Raiden was away, and he and Blacky became an item. Leon knew he was totally being used, but he didn't care. Shortly after, he lost her to a fatal car accident. Then she came back as a ghost. Even with her memories later returning, she wasn't the same as she used to be. While sexual attractions still persist (at least on his end), they were back to being best friends again.

New friends were made, old friends resurfaced, and he was hired for a really sweet assassination job to off the head of Team Rocket but Leon severely underestimated the power of Giovanni's Pokemon and was nearly killed from that. As much of a whiny failure that made him, he still appreciated the action months later and began to actually miss it on occasion.

Starting in this past spring, Leon had nothing left going on to flip shit over, so he took this opportunity and started making frequent trips out of Final Destination, sometimes for dangerous monster research and sometimes he was called up to pull off some kind of underground mission. He came back after each trip, but kept leaving for other places before much time has passed. At one point in the late summer, he disappeared without notice and it was assumed he left for good. Probably went back to Lylat.

He didn't return to Lylat at all. There wouldn't be any point anyway since all of his friends and acquaintences aside from Falco are still on planet Earth.

Leon saw a one-shot job opening seeking help for the transport of Slowpoke Tails between Jhoto and Unova and sought to get it. It was a while since the original operation was ceased in Azalea Town, but the black market still demanded, especially where Slowpokes don't even exist! This was no longer a Team Rocket operation so Leon didn't get the uniform, but he was given a fake license Pokedex and a choice of stolen pokemon to tag along with him. One particular female Snivy looked really cute and deadly holding up Leon's knife, but couldn't swing it for beans. That's okay. He was very bad at this training thing, but no matter how many Pokemon he lost, that Snivy became habitually trained for attraction and bloodshed. It was beautiful. But the Slowpoke Tail operation soon came to light in Nimbasa and was ceased by authorities- sooner than expected.

Wanting to carry no evidence of this fiasco back with him (also, the dex was illegal), The chameleon and Snivy parted ways and Leon made his escape out of the region; returning to Final Destination to see if he still has his day job.

Personality Changes (ie, some characters grow are are different based on where they are taken from. Please write down any changes in personality compared to the first app):
As more people interacted with Leon as a human being instead of fearing him like back home, he gradually grew more casually social over the years and usually thought very little of it- this went on since his first days at Smash. However, his ex-girlfriend's death had him experience some painful grieving for the first time in his life and he never knew that kind of pain firsthand before. Understanding others' emotional pain or dealing with of his own is still a work in progress to this day, but even though that's been gradually changing more over the years, he still questions once in a while if this life will weaken him as a fighter or maybe ruin his reputation. He still genuinely cares for his friends regardless and will put his life out for them. He doesn't fear his own death so that's kind of easy. All that aside, his overall attitude is still that of a pompous fruitcake (sometimes asshole) with sophisticated tastes, an eye for perfection, and a dumb sarcastic jab or innuendo joke for any given situation.

In-Character 1st person writing sample (journal):
Late to the school year, I'm sure. Let's just say I was very busy with things and leave it at that.
If anyone's planning on joining up Zoology this time around, I'll be focusing on 'Pint-sized Hellbringers' which will basically consist of learning about the smallest critters you will ever find on your travels that will give you a delightfully hard time.

Like wasps. I'll link you to some study material to read before the first class. I'll be bringing in a swarm as well as some Zingers to compare them with. Zingers are not small at all, by the way!

Those of you new to the school; I am noticing a lot of new faces now, you guys can just call me Leon. I teach the class mentioned two paragraphs ago.

I'm available for questions should you ask me, either here or my office at the usual room 404.

[Private to Blacky]
... Yeah... I left without telling you.

Again.

...

How does lunch later sound?

[Private to Goose]
I'm back, goldiespikes. Where's that banana you promised me? I'm starving.
Take that as you will.

In-Character 3rd person writing post:
Back at the Academy he was once again. It actually felt pretty awkward to be here without a specific reason. His original reason being to retrieving memories was long since a past thing, and really, his original intentions after that was to go straight home and resume his life. However, that never came to be, and more than a year later, Leon is still in Final Destination instead of the stars of Lylat; teaching at a school instead of offing nameless targets to make a living. Leon felt like he had no reason to go back home, either, though. Corneria was facing a bad recession and his only friend in this recession- well, two counting Slippy these days, are both still here at Smash. He gave Corneria a visit once to restock on supplies, but there was nothing in the city worth him staying. General Pepper's troops even came after him when the chameleon stopped at a cafe for a cup of joe.

Getting re-settled into his new dorm, Leon connected his computer to the upgraded network system and pulled up a list of all his contacts. Maybe there was a reason to still be here and it lies within all these contacts, but Leon only thought of that for a brief moment and shrugged it off because that sounds ridiculous. There simply doesn't need to be a reason. He could be here if he just damn well feels like it.

First thing he should do is announce that he's back to everyone though. As for the individuals whom he has some explaining to do with, he will... work on that later.

But it would make him so happy if people blatantly told him "I don't give a damn" in response to his dissappearance.
