i think that if you believe in a certain thing, and saying merry christmas and God make you mad, then dont listen. I guess you cant change the way people think so whats the big deal in letting them express it? I dont think that it should be that big of a deal for those people to hear one or two words, but hey- thats just me.

Religious beliefs are stupid. Why can't everyone just accept the fact I created the earth and space. Whatever man, let people be fickle.

I don't mind 'Merry Christmas', though I prefer 'Happy Holidays', because that pertains to everyone of every religion, or, everyone to not have any religion at all.

I don't think the Pledge of Alligence is such a wonderful overall. Michigan is making it a requirement to say the PoA every morning for K-12, starting next year. It's not only a waste of time, but it's also kind of dictaorship-ish, don't you think? The last and only other country that required a PoA of sorts was Nazi-Germany in the 1940s. Not to mention not everyone believes in "One God", so it's demeaning towards people who feel like it's violating their religious freedom of prayer to have it required to say the PoA everyday.

But that's my opinion, of course. I was just surfing livejournals, and I happen to come across this one. So yeah. That's it.

P.S.- You referred to "God" as "them".
