So, one week ago today marked the one year anniversary of Erik Living in New York City. I don't write much in this LJ anymore (and never really did) because I think I hate talking about myself. Maybe it's just another form of vanity, though. Whatever, I thought that I could at least belly up to the bar for one post to briefly make note of the ( Read more... )

>Lost an old friend shortly after arriving

If this is who I think it is, it seems to be a common experience. Sorry to hear that.

Wow, can't believe it's been a year already. As for food, Tallahassee just got its first rodizio, so I think we may actually be moving up the diversity ladder when it comes to food (although the fact that it's run by a former manager of a Golden Corral doesn't speak too well to the quality of cuisine).

Yep. Sure is.
Thanks for the stout, btw. Sure does slake a thirst.
And while I can't speak much for Tallahassee's diversity, I can say that, with a million hot dog stands in New York, they don't have a Dog Et Al.

Food? Seriously? Where are you eating, the Times Square Applebees? Come to Astoria and we will take you out for a Greek-stravaganza.

I agree with:

- Smellyness.
- That old friend (Everybody at the UN is talking about her. Enough is enough with that one!)
- The people-in-the-way problem. I have serious 'walk rage' lately.
- Our girlfriend.

Well, yeah, mostly where I live (far E. Williamsburg) there aren't a lot of food options. I do feel that I need to eat in Astoria more, but I'm also very lazy and, for the most part, against inter-borough travel.
Maybe some weekend we can take "our" girl out, though.

D00d there are a wicked lot of options a few blocks West. Graham Avenue alone is ripe with foodstuffs...

P.S. we have to do a Wii night some evening, and/or meet up for drinks at Daddy's?
