Thanks for the useful graph. It shows that the trend for the rich paying more in taxes was allowed to continue in Democrat years, while the Republicans obviously tried to fight it when they took control. All thanks to the glorious Obama that the trend has finally reversed itself.

Either way, the article (and the debate in general) is too simplistic to really express what's going on. Where does it mention capital gains taxes, or the other 20% that's missing. This is a major issue, really, as it is a tax that a lot of 'the rich' seek to avoid.
