It is finally beginning to feel like winter 'round these parts. We had a bad freezing rain storm on Wednesday that caused the buses to be delayed for 4 hours and then eventually cancelled. This is an amazing feat since I believe that our buses are part tank and can and will drive through just about anything. It warmed back up and melted most of ( Read more... )

Due to organization problems and SF's recent car wreck (she's okay--the car's not) I ened up driving to QPAT. It was SF, MB and I travelling down to Montreal together. Inet is still iffy. I finally shut down my computer last night and was able to get back on this morning which is a good sign. Don't know how long this will last though. So I booked my hotel room for the workshop in Alymer next week. I wasn't sure if one had been booked for me yet and I'd like to have somewhere to stay while I'm down there. I wore my new black skirt to work today. It is straight and comes to just below the knee. It has what I'm going to call kick pleats in the back. (On the back of the skirt, in the centre about 4 inchies high are a bunch of little pleats.) It also has come cool seaming detail on the skirt.
