Today rocked my socks off! Chris and I went to get lunch at Applebees, went to a few garage sales, and then saw the Da Vinci Code (more below). After that we played cards, watched the Pistons, then played several games of Mario soccer. It was just a fun day. I wish he didn't go home tomorrow. Well... June 2nd is out next adventure. i am in town, and have been for a few weeks. the movie is at fashion square, AND they reduced ticket prices (thank God cuz they were getting out of hand).

I saw The DaVinci Code tonight and I must admit I really liked it. About halfway through, I predicted a thing and it came true, but it wasn't really that hard to put together.

I must admit that whoever wrote the book is brilliant. And I honestly do not see why it needs the controversy. It's not true. It's fiction. If it were true, that'd be kind of funny, though.

i don't think dan brown is brilliant. clever but not brilliant. the book reads very like the movie, but its not terribly well written. i mean it is in the sense that anyone could read it, but its not especially eloquent or anything. the plot is good and the ideas interesting, and its just a fast read. kinda like most michal crichton or john grisham books.
