actually xmas is ok, it's just an abbreviation. x is the greek symbol for "ch". and p is greek for "r" .. so x/x with a p stuck in it are symbols for christ.

i dont care about greek translations.
if you make it xmas, you are taking the Christ out of Christmas.
if they wanted greek added into it, by using the x, then why dont they just make it ALL greek for an abbreviation? hm?

when speaking, saying christmas or xmas take the saem amount of time so i understand y u shoudl say "christmas" but when typing or writing, it is alot shorter to just put "xmas". i mean im a christian and love christ, but every1 knows ur tlaking about christmas, so i dont really think its that big of a deal. but oh well. we all have our own pet peaves (sp?)

rawrr i know.
haha i got onto my boss at work a while back because we always write on the board the coffee of the day, and when it was the christmas blend he wrote "xmas blend" and i made him take it down & spell out christmas.

i dont so much take it offensivly, but alot of people take offense to it!

but yeah..
idk haha.
ilu.

dad says abreviating christmas with xmass is taking the christ out of christmas, which is a really good point that i never thought about before!
