Danny stared out the window of the 35th floor as he sipped at the cup of coffee in his hand.
It was a quiet day, actually and he had a chance to breathe in between Trace and DNA. Soon enough he’d be in ballistics to prove that the man had indeed shot his fiancee. Sad, really. What Danny couldn’t figure is that if you swore your love to someone…then why would you shoot someone three days before your wedding.
“All he had to do was walk away,” Mac had said earlier. And it was true..
Another heavy sigh and a sip of the now room temperature java and he pushed his glasses up onto his forehead and rubbed his eyes. It would never make sense.
