I can relate to what you're saying. I can relate in that I remember going to visit my grandpa in the hospital and then later at my grandparents' house when he was sick. And really, what you described completely parallels my thoughts and feeling during that time. It really is so tough to see a family member like that. But your conclusions are the same as mine were. And I'm glad for that.
It's good to know somebody can relate. Even if we don't really talk about it...it's just comforting. You know? So thank you. And I'm sorry about your grandpa as well. :/
I'm doing better. I'm getting used to juggling it all, basically. I used to have such a "thing" about older people (you know, when they kind of "freak you out"), but I can honestly say this experience has led me to let go of all of that. When I see him now, all I want to do is sit there with him and do whatever I can. Whenever I can. It's such a different feeling for me. I kind of admire it.
Since you know, you're productive on the weekdays now...do I get to see you this weekend? :P

So I wish the entirety of your family the best.
And, of course, I hope you are doing well too. :)

I don't knooow. I might be able to take some time out of my oh-so-busy schedule to make an appearance. Only time will tell.
