spinning in circles around each other
arms spread wide
but crossed once they are stood
facing one another
eyes aligned but in separate directions
both handed a compass
but threw them
from the bridge
then followed
claiming they seemed so
simply
graceful
as they
fell
to
the
water
below.

i like the compass as a symbol. compasses and maps are nice for that. representing things to direct, guide, tell you which way to go, or how to find this or that. and of course it is made more interesting for the fact that the compass and what it stands for is dismissed, tossed away. tossed away, but followed, down, to the water. very interesting.
and i like the word spacing at the end, to create the feeling of falling. i feel like i remember something else you wrote with a similar structure. i like it.
write here more often! :)
