Oh yes, the lovely mildew-y smell? I get that a lot.. my basement floods ALL the time and it sucks bad.

How did you get the water out? We have one of the ancient vaccuums (I can't spell) that has a bag/bucket inside and we use that. It usually gets the water out really well.

yes, that would be the smell. we used that too, but there was SO much water. there were puddles when you walked. it was ridiculous. i hope it doesnt smell like, forever.

It doesn't. Do you have a fan? Bring it down there and leave all the doors open, it'll get it out in around a day. I've had up to 6 inches of water in my basement and it cleared out really fast that way.

yeah, it happened i believe on sunday, and its still not dry. all the windows are open, but ill tell my dad about the fan. thanks for the tip
