I've already spoken with some of you about the recent happenings on the Barge and expressed my concerns regarding them; I do believe that any investigation carried out regarding this should be done together not by some splintered factions of the warden or inmate population.
In case the filters work for this, it is not available to all inmates. You may request yours to be included, but please be sensible. I have not much patience for annoyances.
If it is wished I can keep this updated with new information and theories.
Report: Recent incidents on the Barge regarding the deck, doors, malfunctions and apparitions of unknown nature.
Doors:
People started finding themselves locked out - or in - their rooms or public facilities as early as August 14. I have no knowledge of proper investigations of the phenomenon and it was quickly overshadowed by the following encounter with another Barge.
On the second of October, people have reported of an unknown creature banging against their doors when trying to open them. There have been unintentional recording of this; I have one of them of my own. I would be ready to have it used for analysing, but I reserve the right to deny access and shall give it on request only. And no, this is purely a precaution, not me thinking of any specific individuals.
Deck:
At the same time as the worsening of the door incidents there have been changes to the deck. I reported those myself in a public entry and I assume most of those have seen the deck in the meantime. There has yet to be an explanation for these changes as well, and they are apparently quite different from the usual ones around this time of the year. There are dead leaves as well as ash and the ship seems to have rusted in a way that would suggest it has been left in the water for a long time.
There are also odd smells and noises, though I can't make much of either. Whispers have also been reported, but unfortunately they can't be heard in my recording. Has anyone else had more luck?
Apparitions:
On October 7 apparitions have appeared; they disappear if looked at directly, seem to have a habit of staring at you and lack a face, as well as hair and ears. I have tried throwing a dagger at them as well as shoot them with a staser but both have proved futile; they either flicker for a moment or simply disappear.
As far as I know communication attempts have been unsuccessful as well. Those with telepathic abilities have been unable to sense them - are there any exceptions to this? And has anyone managed to make recording of them? Every time I've tried the data became corrupted, which brings me to my next point:

Malfunctions:
On the same day as the apparitions appeared, both the lights and the communicator have started malfunctioning. The former has started flickering at times, though I have not been able to make out a pattern yet.
There has been static or odd noises in communications, sometimes to the point of the post becoming hard to decipher, and the filters do not work properly at times. It would also seem that they turn on unintentionally more often than before and not due to the owner doing so accidentally.
[Edit:] Miss Persson reported that her communicator was suddenly searing hot when she touched it. This may be part of this.
Theories:
There are a variety of theories trying to explain this; one of the more popular ones would be that it is the Admiral's doing and he's simply pulling a prank. [Edit:] Agent Kay suggested that it may be a form of psychological done by the Admiral, similar to some other floods and ports.
[Edit:] Rayne has told us that the apparitions facelessness is similar to the staff the Barge once had; if they are the same then there is a possibility that they might want revenge on him.
That is possible, however, this may be of a more serious - and dangerous - nature and personally, I prefer to worry and have it turn out to be nothing than not to worry and be caught off-guard.
More serious theories would include this being a time anomaly: something from the Barge's relative future is echoing back in time. I have not received any data from the time travellers with the necessary equipment on board regarding this. [Edit:] Narvin said he couldn't find evidence of a time anomaly nearby, so this has become more unlikely.
It might also be an invasion - the Aztec invasion in January started with the barge changing as well, though this has dragged on for a considerably longer time than the few days back then. There is the possibility of the Admiral trying to stop them, though.
Of note is also the fact that no one has met the creature behind the doors yet. One may assume them and the apparitions to be one of the same, but as of now that would only be speculation. As it is, the doors only open once the creature stopped banging on it. Perhaps the Admiral is trying to protect us from them? If he is indeed trying to fight this, then the worsening of the situation would suggest he is loosing - all the more reason to be concerned.
As we have met another Barge, there is also the possibility of that Admiral trying to get rid of our Barge, assuming they are not one and the same. Indeed, thee very well may be someone of the same species or power out there with a grudge against the Admiral. I've wondered if he may be one of the Guardians, but the Doctor has had more to do with those.
As the deck looks rusted as if it had been abandoned under water, there may be a connection to the “floods” - this may be a ship, but the terminology might have a deeper meaning then just pure symbolism.
