I couldn't agree more! As a citizen wary of the inevitable domination of carts over consumers, I for one emphatically agree that everyone must adhere to this measure of cart corralling!

How dare you discriminate against us shopping carts! We assist whenever possible, do as directed, rarely run away without provocation, and even when we do run, we rarely go past the cement boundaries of our mother-store. Even the sickliest among us, with a weak wheel or broken basket, serve as best we can.

We stand in lines WAITING to serve you; and this is how you repay us. An occasional moment of freedom, basking in the suns warmth, experiencing the breeze, or quietly chatting in the lot with our larger and self-powered wheeled-brethren is not an offense. You take so much from us; time, energy, mileage. The least you can do is allow us to rest, out of our normally tight ranks, and experience reprieve from our burdens.
