Hitchhiker's Guide + Star Trek
So, I just discovered that several Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy characters (Arthur, Ford, and Trillian) exist in the Star Trek universe. Canonically. And I think that's kind of hysterical, for the possible crossover lulz alone. :D

Sea Lion Rescue

Alien Takover- Or, The Mutant Bug That's Loose in My Apartment
So, there's a GIANT roach-beetle-giant-mutant bug loose in our apartment. I found it about an hour and a half or so ago when I was looking in the mirror in the bathroom- it was reflected in the mirror from the corner of the wall behind me. The Train Has Left the Building...and I'm Not On It
So, my roommate and I missed our train from Buffalo to New York by eight minutes and now have to take a different train that leaves tomorrow morning at 4:30 am. *facepalm*

The Iowa Supreme Court unanimously struck down Iowa's gay marriage ban.
Iowa got there before California. That's possibly the most ridiculous and depressing thing I've ever heard.
