Which two things have you done so that I can TRY to do those two and we can get together and help eachother when you come home. school hasn't even started and I've already been bawling today. This isn't a good sign. I just can't take it. I might drop it.

Attn: rising juniors taking AP english.

I know it probably feels like you are doing a lot of work now. and for the first week of class, you are going to feel like its harder than the other English classes (because Mrs. Barnette WILL fill your head with nonsense).

However. In the long run. The AP class does less work. Is graded easier. and provides a better GPA. Its really a win-win situation... they just try to scare kids out of it by giving them big summer assignments.

I assure you. The actual AP class will be nothing like this summer assignment. Its the only real test you are going to be facing.

So stick with it. Because it is worth it to take AP over Honors. DEFINITELY worth it. Honors is actually harder because Mrs. Barnette always gives preference to AP kids.
