question for the masses

now personally i dont like confrontations, but my question to the masses is: when one of ur friends does something really really dumb should u tell them that theyre being incredibly moronic or should u let them run the course they feel they must run until they fall? then u must procede to pick up the pieces once again and put them back together

Interesting depends on a couple of factors:
1. What kind of a person they are? Meaning easily annoyed, upset, pissed off...etc.
2. How long you've known him/her?
3. How well you know the person?
4. How close you are to the person?
5. How stupid or dumb was the thing they did?
6. Are you sure he/she will take your advice?
7. If he/she takes your advice at all?

These are just a couple ?'s...

After you have given it enough thought and think the person will be a pain-in-the-ass...or you spoke to them and their being a pain-in-the-ass...

I'd said let him/her figure it out on their own...I mean he/she is an adult now. Who should be able to take care of their own problems?

...

That is all, I hope I was helpful.

Say your piece once and only once against what that person is saying/doing. Despited the fact that you think they are not listening to you, they at least heard you and will take it under considersion, that does not mean they inturn they will then follow it. Then just be there for them because that's what friends do. People make mistakes, and they don't need to hear i told you so every time you did.
