i know (i think!) what you are saying. i waited until my son was 2 1/2 or 3 to go out and meet people, when he was at the age where he was dying for company, too. Don't wait. Check out your local libraries. They should have storytimes for babies, even that young! You'll meet other moms who can connect you to other stuff. Also, it sometimes costs a little but there are things like Kindermusik. When he gets to be about one, even little Mommy and Me gymnastics and swimming classes. Not to be preachy, but church is really a great way. Mine has a Mother to Mother group that is awesome. Force yourself to do stuff, even at night while your husband babysits. I wasn't even that social of a person before I had kids, didn't even have to move across the country, and I had such a hard time with the adjustment. Mothering can really be a lonely job. Okay, just two cents from your stranger friend. :)
I love you, Your amazing, and I miss you!! :-) I promise I will come visit soon!! You are an amazing woman and mom...you will do great!! I know it is hard making new friends when you move and I can completely undestand being somewhere new and not really having a lot of "good" friends!! You are an outgoing and fun person though, so take some of the suggestions from the other comment and go meet people!!
