It's been a bit of a tiring weekend and my moods have been up and down, especially considering that the secretary at work has been sick so I've had to do all of my tasks plus a few of hers that HAVE to be done on a daily basis. That sounds delicious! Where does one get root beer oil? In the grocery store? I've never seen that!

I found root beer oil at a chocolate/candy supply store. You might be able to find root beer extract in the grocery store. We couldn't find root beer extract (which is less concentrated than the oil so you need more of it) so we bought the oil.

Oh I LOVE to bake!! I'm always baking a million things. http://shortysc22.livejournal.com/700850.html I baked tons of cookies to share when I went to SMTown and there's probably more pictures floating around on the LJ somewhere.

I had to go to a specialty candy store to get root beer oil. If you want some easy to experiment with recipes, let me know and I have some good ones that are easy to tweak.

I just used food coloring. The icing is the most basic recipe ever! It's powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk and food coloring.

My mom bought the dinosaur cookie cutters when I was little and gave them to me when she realized how much I loved baking. I have ninja shapes, the pictures above has Halloween shapes, ampelmann shapes, and a bunch of other random ones.
