Title: Into The Magical Realm
Chapter: 3 of ??
Summary: Nino got his magic wand and Sakurai is suspicious of Ohno...
Nino laid on the comfy feathered bed in the inn they checked in. “That was another cool act you did, Ohno. What did you showed them?”
“Yes, I would like to know as well.”
“The Elvin Kingdom’s seal.”
“The seal? Apologise if I mistaken, but to what I know the seal is only owned by the Royal Elves.”
“The King has given me permission to bring the seal for this mission, he knew I’ll be overcome with many obstacles and the seal may provide some easy way such as what you have just witnessed. The sorcerers here are not fond of other beings to be in this village, they are afraid their secrets will be leak to outsiders.”
“Secrets? What secrets?”
“Secret of Magic, there are many secrets to it.”
“You are very knowledgeable for a Knight.” Sakurai raised an eyebrow at the elf.
“Of course, if not, I would not be a First Class one.” The elf copied him.
Nino who is oblivious to the interaction between the two, sat up from the bed. “So when can I get my Magic Wand, Sakurai?”
“After we have met the Head Sorcerer, then we get your wand.”
As if on cue, the door to their room is open, and a beautiful lady in a purple and gold silk robe walked in with the leader of the green hooded men they encountered earlier. The lady is so beautiful with her porcelain skin and crystal blue eyes.
“Gentleman, please accept my humble apologies for making you wait and welcome to Magus. I am Reika, the Head Sorcerer.”
“Here I thought an old man with long white beard, half-moon spectacles with twinkle eyes that will come and meet us.”
Both Sakurai and Ohno snorted. The leader of the green hooded men glared at Nino who coughed to cover his giggle.
Reika smiled, “This is Kazeyama, the Sorcerer Captain. He took care of all the security and safety of our village.”
The leader of the green hooded man lowered his hood and bowed to each of them although he does it hesitantly to Nino.
Reika lead them to the seats near the fireplace, she sat on the armchair while Nino and Sho sat in the loveseat. Ohno remained standing near the fireplace while Kazeyama took his place behind the armchair where the Head Sorcerer sat.
“From what little bird told me, three of you are on the mission from the Elvin King.”
“Ninomiya here,” Sakurai gestured to Nino on his right. “Is looking for a magic wand that could assist him.”
“A magic wand?” Reika looked amused and looked at Nino. “A sorcerer, but I can see you are different from the rest. May I see your left hand?”
“L-left hand?”
“It is because you are left-handed aren’t you?” Kazeyama sneered.
Nino glared at him but obeyed the request and held out his left hand to Reika. The Head Sorcerer took his left hand gently and closed her eyes.
“She’s feeling for your magic core,” Kazeyama explained.
Reika slowly opened her eyes and smiled at Nino who waiting for her to speak, “You have a unique magic core, unlike the usual wizards here. I can only present you with one and only special magic wand.” Reika pull out her own magic wand that looked like made of crystal and wave it lightly over Nino’s left hand, and magically appeared a magic wand beautifully crafted and seems like glitter all over before disappears and leave the wand as it is.
Nino gasped at the wand, it feels so light in his hand and he can feel a pulsing of energy not from the wand but from within himself travels to the wand.
“Now your magic core is successfully unbounded, this magic wand is made from the wisdom tree at this centre of village, its core is from a dragon breath, use it well, young sorcerer.”
“Thank you, “Nino managed his voice, still overwhelmed with his wand.
Reika stood and turned to the other two in the room, “Hope you gentlemen will have a good rest before you continue your journey tomorrow.”
Sakurai stood and bowed, “Thank you for your kindness, My Lady.”
Ohno shared a glance with the Head Sorcerer before bowing too and the Head Sorcerer left the room followed by Kazeyama.
“Wow! Cool! I can feel the magic in me! You’re right, Sakurai, I am a sorcerer!”
“You were thinking I’m a liar all this time,” Sakurai’s mouth twitched. “I will help you along the way to learn and control your magic.” He stated firmly.
Nino twirling his wand in his hands, sending some sparks out in the end of it. “Superb! Can you do magic too, Ohno?” He turned to the elf.
The said elf smiled at him and nodded, “We have Elven Magic as we called it and it is very far different and more powerful than sorcerer but we rarely used it unless for the situation it is called for. We are rather preferred weaponry and healing.” He explained.
“Then if yours is powerful than me why didn’t you and the rest of the elves use it to save the kingdom?”
The elf remain silent for some time that Nino thought he would not answer but then Ohno spoke.
“Because of our enemy is also an elf moreover a Royal Dark Elf which has greater magical power than usual Royal Elf. Our defence also weaken because of the illness of our Prince.” There was a sadness shown in the elf’s eyes.
None spoke at the moment until Sakurai coughed to gain their attention for them to get some rest before they continue their journey tomorrow.
That night Nino laid on his bed thinking about his fate in this world far from his own. Listening to Ohno, he could feel the sadness and hope from him which makes Nino think that all of this is no joke matter anymore.

At dawn, the three of them are already packed and ready to mount their horses when Reika and Kazeyama come to bid their farewell.
“I pray for your safety and success on the journey, fellow travellers. I could see bright future for you, Nino.” Reika told them. Sakurai and Ohno bowed to her.
Kazeyama approached Nino with his stoic face and put something in his hand. Nino blinked as he looked in his hand, which looked like kind of small ornate silver with craved words he did not understand.
“It is a protection charm it is not as strong as a spell but it does save some lives,” he said monotonously and return to his place behind Reika. Nino grinned at the man and pocketed the charm in his breast pocket. “I’ll take a note of it.”
And so, the three left Magus to meet with the Vampire clan as Nino has acquired his magic wand and some books Reika lend him.
###
Nino gulped down some water to quench his thirst. They have stop in a small village for supply and quick rest. Ohno has gone to a weaponry shop, while Sakurai with Nino sat in a tavern eating a small lunch.
“So where is this Vampire village?” Nino asked and Sakurai smack him on top of his head.
“Mind your words here,” he warned. They looked around and thank goodness no one heard Nino’s question.
“What? Is it a taboo word? You know the ‘V’?” Nino whispered.
“No, you fool. It is just that some creatures are not fond of them.”
“Oh I see…”
Sakurai held himself from rolling his eyes. “They do not live in village, there is a castle within the Blood Forest-“
Nino nearly choked on his food, “W-what say that again?”
This time Sakurai really rolled his eyes, “Blood. Forest. The vampire clan is a very close pack like werewolves too, but they are lead by Pureblood Vampires”.
“Cool, this is like some anime I watched before. How many days do you think we’ll arrive at this castle?” Nino continued on gobbling down his food.
“A week,” Ohno interrupted dropping a couple of swords and shields on the table.
“Woah, what the hell is this?” Nino pointed at the bunch of metals.
“It’s for both of you. You need protection, magic are good for distance, but not close combat.”
“Great now I have to learn to handle a sword too” Nino said mockingly, losing his appetite.
“Have you been to Blood Forest, Ohno?” Sakurai eyed the elf.
“I had, many times to represent the elves for to maintain the alliance with the clan.”
“Did they bite?” Nino asked.
“We offered some blood as peace offering. After all Elven blood does have enhancing qualities.”
“Not all Elven blood,” Sakurai corrected. “Only the royal ones.”
Ohno’s expression closed off and drinks in silent while Sakurai continued to stare at him with judgemental eyes. Nino watched them with confusion therefore he decide to confront about it with Sakurai that night when they retired to their own room in the inn.
“Alright, what’s going on between Ohno and you?”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m not stupid, I have eyes. You guys were having this tension. It irked me nonetheless. Wait, you’re not being suspecting him of something, do you?” Nino gasped.
Sakurai sighed. “I just suspect that Ohno might not be really who he said, he’s hiding something.”
“I think you’re hiding something too,” Nino muttered but Sakurai ignored him to continue, “I heard that the stolen orb has not reached the enemies hand, therefore it must mean that the orb is still in the hands of the thief waiting to transport it to the Outland.”
“And you think this Ohno is a thief? But he’s a First Class Knight!”
“He might be lying about that.”
“But he has the seal!”
“If he can steal the orb then he can steal the seal too.”
“But…. What are we going to do now? My life might be in danger too now he knows that I’m the fated sorcerer.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll protect you,”
“Somehow I don’t feel safe hearing that,” Nino muttered.
“And you’ll learn to be a sorcerer so you can protect yourself.”
“I wish there is a book, DIY: Be a great Sorcerer like Dumbledore.”
“Who’s Dumbelldoor?”
“Nevermind,” Nino yawned. “I might as well get some sleep. Goodnight, Sakurai.”
“Goodnight, Nino. See you in the morning.”
“Sakurai…”
“Yes?”
“I think you’re wrong. Ohno seems like a good guy, he saved us and he bought us the swords and shields. And he seems sad about something.”
“…..”
“See you in the morning, Sakurai.” With that Nino shut the door behind him, leaving Sakurai alone in his room, contemplating over Nino’s words and without the two of them knowing Ohno was listening into their conversation before retreating back to his own room.
