My Stubborn Cat and the Tumbleweed

I was in the desert with my cat
Some tumbleweed rolled by and I said, "Hey look at that!"
My cat didn't look
So at him I threw a book

He didn't respond
So I threw him in a pond
He only shook
So I turned to look

At the tumbleweed
But it had just run away

Okay, okay. I know it sucks, but it was the longest poem I could find in the assignment. This one is an example of personification.
