...well, it isn't!
Okay, so the point of this is to organize all your GIFs and paste every 3rd one as the answer to each question. Since I don't have animated GIFs, I'm using icons and other pics. Hey, you want a high-tech blog, you go somewhere else!
Anyway.
1. Your parents' reaction when you were born:
Um...yummy paper. This might very well be accurate, since my parents had been awake for about 48 hours by the time I finally entered the world.
2. How you felt on your first day of school:
Oh so accurate. Except perhaps for the love triangle. Keep that stuff for the dramas.
3. Your reaction when you learned to ride a bike:
Dance all night, into the day! ...Not really though. Machinery, thou art not my friend.
4. Your reaction to getting a birthday present from your best friend:
IS EMILY GONNA HAFTA CUT A BITCH? No, but really. I think this particular face is reserved for relatives...and people who talk at the theater.
5. How you felt when you got your first crush:
Oh God haha, why so accurate? Point of interest: my first crush lasted from 3rd grade until right before 8th grade, which is about the time I realized that he was a complete asshole, no matter how pretty he was.
6. How your first crush felt when you told him:
...which might have been word-for-word what he would've said, had I told him. Bastard.
7. Your reaction when your parents sat you down to have "the talk":
Trufax. Except without the serial killer face.
8. How you felt after your first kiss:
Totally true. My boyfriend cornered me on the playground in 2nd grade. I was going around with a WTF?! plastered on my face the rest of the day.
9. Your partner's reaction to that first kiss:
Ack! No, keep the knives away!! ...He was actually kinda like WTF? as well. I think we were both too young to really get why that happened.
10. How you felt after your very first hangover:
Sarcasm mode engaged. Not possible to disengage. Good luck getting through the rest of the day.
11. How you felt after having sex for the first time:
...Um, I sure hope that's what it'll be like. I'm not holding out for much though.
12. How you felt waiting for your exam results:
Wherein I portray the part of Zuko. But I need to talk about how badly I diiiiddd! Why are you running awaaaaayy??
13. Your reaction to failing an exam:
Modus operandi: find the nearest empty bathroom, lock yourself in the corner stall, cry your eyes out, then pretend you have stomach problems so your friends don't think you're perpetually 3 years old.
14. Your reaction to passing an exam:
I have passed, hear me ROAR! Also scarily accurate.
15. How you felt after getting into your chosen university:
Hell yeah, we're going to college! (Only 1500+ more things to do before you can schedule classes!)
16. Your reaction to being dumped by your partner:
Oh the drama! This might happen, but it's all hypothetical at this point...
17. How you felt after smoking pot for an evening:
Yes, yes, yes. Except this will never happen, as pot is stinky and gross.
18. Everyone's reaction to a party you organized:
Grab your goggles and lab coats, cause this about to go off!! *might have watched Hot Fuzz a little too much the last couple days*
19. Your reaction to finding your true love:
KILL IT WITH FIRE!!! ...Because as we all know, it's one thing to read about true love and quite another to suffer through it.
20. Your reaction to graduating:
...And this is all I learned in my 4 years, family. Aren't you proud??
21. How you felt on your wedding day:
Oh God, what was I thinking?! Let's go crazy, that'll work in my favor, right?
22. How you felt during your wedding night:
...Can we like, talk this over or something? Yes? No?
23. Your reaction when you find out you're pregnant:
Haha, I could've sworn you said it came out positive! Oh, haha, but seriously...
24. The picture that describes the rest of your life:
Everything's fine let's game...ACKPANICTHATWASDUETODAY???...Everything's fine let's game...(ad nauseum)
25. Your family's reaction when you pass away:
They're just about to kiss, they've only been dancing around it for 16 chapters...wait, who's dead?
Also, I'd like to take this space to say what a wonderful series Death Note really is. I've been reading the manga, which is something I really don't do even if the series is exceptional, but I was really curious to see if anything changed. So far it's been almost exactly the same, except for one very small scene that I just have to mention. When Light first meets Misa, they go up to his room and talk, right? Well, in the manga he asks her how much of a person's face she needs to see in order to get their name with the shinigami eyes. She ends up drawing a series of diagrams to explain that are really intelligent. Light points out that she's pretty good at explaining things and there's a moment where they make eye contact and they both look away, blushing, and Light actually has an inner monologue about not getting involved...which implies that he actually has an attraction to her! Of course, this is never mentioned again (as far as I know), but still!
Oh, and the other point I wanted to mention is something that always bothered me. During the story arc where Light has lost his memories of the Death Note, L asks him to lead Misa on in case she's still somehow in contact with Kira's doings. Light says that goes against his personal code of honor and L says that maybe they aren't that alike after all. So what this boils down to is that Light has a stronger moral code (when he's not being influenced by the Death Note) than L does with or without influence. Oh character ambiguity! No series does it quite like Death Note.
