Following Abarai-taichou's lead, I did some research with the help of Kyouraku-taichou's library. When asking some of my officers that made the monthly Academy visits for potential recruits, no one was familiar with the name "Fujiwara Kumiko". My 3rd Seat Fujita, however, mentioned that it sounded familiar to her, but that she had heard it some time ago.

After a few hours, I found several mentions of Fujiwara Kumiko in text, most notably in Famous Writers (5th Ed.), 18,000 Poem Collection, and Hollow Tragedies Throughout History. She was a poet some 1,000 years ago from the middle-class noble family "Fujiwara" (now no longer a kept bloodline and disbanded house). Her poems were of average quality, but she was known for how she died: after losing her husband to mother to illness and husband to a Hollow within the same week, and her third child some months later, Fujiwara was said to have lost all reason and murdered her remaining two children, a long with three of her neighbors, before killing herself.

I'm not sure what implications this may have, if any at all.

working as usual, super secret work
