Zabimaru's been kinda edgy, too. Like he just kinda...feels useless; I can't even get shikai to hold anymore. I've got a fair enough hand with a sword without the release--you know brawlin's my strong point anyhow--but I dunno what might happen if they can't ever go back.

Guess I always wanted a dog...

I'm slightly more concerned with the fact that Ichimaru and Aizen prolly know about this. Even if they're affected by it as well, I'm thinking we're kind of ah...sitting ducks if someone decided to pull something.

If they can't go back, I know we're going to have to find better sleeping arrangements. Wabisuke doesn't take up much space, but I have six of my Division sleeping in the training grounds because their zanpukutou spirits are too vast for their own quarters. The weather's fine for it at the moment, but if it starts raining...

I know that's the least of our problems right now, considering, but it is a valid issue in the long term.

We've been trying to deal with this as calmly as possible to prevent panic, but the longer this goes, the more serious it is.

There's also the fact that no new shikai have manifested in or out of the Academy for months. I have to wonder if this is related.

I noticed that as well, but I never considered it related. Though, it is suspicious under the layer of general Zanpakutou curiosities.

Hyourinmaru has been making the same complaint. He mentioned he couldn't find his way back and he worries the connection is severed. If it remains this way, we are far weaker than we were before. Perhaps we should all brush up on kidou and swordsmanship. As much as I hate to say it Kurotsuchi's research might be invaluable.

That may be the point. Though we have no evidence, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wondering how deeply Aizen is connected to this. Is Ichimaru in Soul Society right now?

That may be a good idea...staring mandatory practice or something like that.

I suppose we don't have many other options
