Stuck in the 80s (for noblexcompanion)

It wasn't quite how Harry imagined the future to be. He'd seen a few different places by now, but he hadn't expected a time that was so close, to be so different. He still wasn't used to it, even after they'd dealt with that alien in Harrods, so he was rather glad to be on his way back to the TARDIS ( Read more... )

"You have got to be kidding me..." Close by stood a rather irate Donna Noble. It was bad enough that she and the Doctor had gotten separated in the flippin' 1980s, even worse that it was right in the middle of an IRA bomb scare. Lovely. Just lovely. Oh no, it wasn't going to be aliens or old age that finished her off! Oh no, it was going to be a bomb attack that she'd lived through as child - well, at least it would make for an interesting story...

So much for a quick trip to the shops in the eighties. She should've known. She should've known that a quick trip is never a quick trip when the Doctor is involved... "Well this is just wizard..."

Harry took her anger for worry. "I'm sure it won't take them long to find the bomb and diffuse it," he told her and gave her a comforting smile. "There's bound to be a bus that will get you to your destination." He was sure the Doctor and Sarah would wait for him, so he wasn't in too much of a rush that he couldn't help anyone who might need it.

"I'm not so sure a bus could get me to where I need to go..." she sighs. Seriously, when she finds her stupid skinny spaceman there were going to be serious words. Damn him and his stupid shopping trips and his stupid not being there to rescue her.

"We should probably get out here - just in case."

"All right," he agreed and followed the crowd who also had the same idea. "Where were you trying to get to? Maybe I can help, I know London quite well." And it hadn't changed that much, as far as he could see.
