Yes, Columbus was in his office for parents weekend. He even made an effort to clean up and removed all the empty pizza boxes and bottles of Code Red.

However while waiting for parents to show up, he had already started in on a quest for World of Warcraft.

He was nothing but predictable.

Way too predictable.

The girl in the doorway stood there for a minute or two wondering if Columbus would ever tear himself away from the screen.

Apparently not.

"You know for a small island, you're a hard man to track down."

"Well my office hours are posted on the door," Columbus said as he continued his attack against the damn alliance. "However since today is parents weekend I'm holding a special session. I'll be with you in one second."

Wichita rolled her eyes and sighed. "Columbus. Look. Over. Here."

And that's when Columbus realized he knew that voice. And that tone.

He turned to look at the doorway, his mouth falling open enough that he could probably catch flies if he didn't shut it.
