Damn you, Harry Knowles:This isn't merely a bad film, but a painful experience that you keep telling yourself to leave. However, I have a very strong belief in witnessing the terror. People had to survive the Holocaust to hold those responsible, responsible. This film isn't as bad as the Holocaust. Nothing could be.

I do that a lot in email and IM. I feel like person-to-person electronic communications require some amount of syntax that, while not technically "correct", conveys meaning in a more conversational manner. Not that this applies to the quote you're referring to.

also, I think that saying that AICN writers write about movies for a living is kind of like saying that Bill O'Reilly discusses politics for a living.
