For the longest time I would always bumble my way through livejournal, lurking and never really understanding how to navigate the site. It seems excessively complicated and I'm still having trouble figuring it all out. I will mention that I'm only joining at this time because I want to sign up for the Star Trek Big Bang that I've seen floating

Hi there:) Since you posted this entry over a month ago, you've probably figured this all out by now, but I'm brand new to LJ, too, and I know how confusing it can be.

I'm not sure how StarTrekBigBang works to be honest...if you figure it out, let me know! For posting stories, just post them as Journal entries and make sure to tag them by fandom, rating, genre, and include the fanfic's name as a tag. I personally add my fanfic journal entries to my memories so I can keep them organized, but that's just me. There are ALOT of talented fanfic artists on here, so you are not alone:)There is a Star Trek art meme on here somewhere (but i'm having a hard time finding the link.) They can probably tell you how to go about posting your art better than I can, as I have absolutely no talent whatsoever in that area.

Thanks! This actually helped a lot since I'm kind of flying blind here. (Oh hey, look I think I figured out how to comment?) I'm a bit of a techno-tard when it comes to figuring stuff out.

I'm sure I'll do the fanfic-journal thing wrong about six or seven times before I'll figure it out. I had a friend explain it to me earlier but I wasn't sure I understood it completely. Don't worry though, all two of my brain cells that are devoted to technology are working feverishly on the task. I hope they don't disappoint. I've been posting my art to a scrapbook so far, so I think I'm doing it right? A Star Trek art meme? That sounds like my type of party, I'll try to find that.

Although I'm curious, I've never heard of a kink meme prompt. I've been dying to read a good Sylar/Kirk, but it's hard to wrap my brain around it. I have an intriguing SylarxKirkxSpock idea bouncing around my head but with no way of putting it down.
