its been a while, all is well. I am still awaiting the arrival of my jeep. in the mean time i have my old dodge shadow. The army is still treating me well. I am getting closer to becoming a SGT. I have a nice cushy 9-5 job here at fort benning. I also get hollidays and training holidays, so i will probably be seeing you all for the 4 day ( Read more... )

seriously dude. try about 14 hours with pee stops. It's about 7 hours from Ft. Campbell, KY. I was stationed at Ft. Stwart, GA, and it took me over 14 hours to get there. I know Benning is about 2 hours closer.

you drive like a pussy, I left at 9am and arived at like 7pm. with the hour jump and i stopped at denneys twice. plus i had to stop for gas like every 250 miles because my car only has a 10 gallon tank.

No. I drive like a responsible adult, not a reckless kid. The only way on earth to make that trip in that time is if you are averaging 80mph. That's non-stop, no breaks, averaging that. That means that you had to drive in excess of 100mph most of the way; especially if you stopped to eat.

I'm just glad you're the one making the drive. I've made that drive so many times that I hope I never have to make it again. :)
