Summary: Shou wasn't exactly sure what to say or even what to think as the male blabbed on, walking further into his apartment.

As instructed, Shou was up early for roll-call the next morning. Meeting Saga in the kitchen at 10am, dressed in a brown suede blazer, beige chinos and old brown shoes. Causing Saga to almost choke on his cup of tea and cringe. However they really didn't have time for him to make a fuss over the blondes hideous fashion blunder, so he quickly finished his tea and grabbed his jacket.

Outside they jumped in a cab and sped off.

The streets soon became less dense than the main roads. Dotted with young men and women all dressed in fancy looking suits and smart-casual attire. Seeming far too overdressed for 10 in the morning in Shou's opinion.

Before he could even react Saga had paid the fare and pulled him out of the taxi and down the street.

"Wait, where are we?" he questioned , trying to free the iron grip that Saga had on his wrist.

"Ginza"

"What are we doing here?"

"I need to speak to someone. Now chill out".

They stopped infront of a small building. A large sign with swirly roman lettering just above the door. 'Club Gemini'.

Beyond the doorway was a dark stairway leading down into the ground. In front of the door however, stood a man.

Spiky blonde hair that resembled a cockatoo, loose black jeans and tight black tank top that showed off his muscular arms. His face was obscured by a strip of cloth that covered his nose. His entire appearance emitted an intimidating vibe. Making it clear that he was the bouncer and was not to be messed with.

"Good morning Reita" Saga beamed, receiving a nod from the man.

"Hey Saga, I thought your shift was on Thursday?"

"It is. I need to see Aoi"

Reita looked over the brunette's shoulder, cocking a brow at Shou.

"Another customer who refuses to pay? I thought you had a guy at your place that took care of shit like that?"

Saga simply laughed, tapping his arm playfully. "No no, nothing like that. He's a friend, anyway we really need to get going" He said pleasantly, passing the blonde smoothly and dragging Shou with him.

"Alright then, just go easy on him. That guy looks like he's never even handled his own snake before" Reita laughed.

Shou frowned in confusion as they descended the stairs.

"I don't even own a snake" He mumbled, causing Saga to burst into a fit of giggles.

"Honey, he means your dick" He laughed "He's basically calling you a virgin"

The elders cheeks blazed crimson.

"I'm not a virgin!" He cried "I've had sex lots of times. I have!!"

"Hey, you don't need to tell me that, you and Tora were louder than an African drumming tribe" the other joked. Rubbing his back as he caught the look of sadness that flashed through his brown eyes. "Anyway... Just follow me"

They pushed open the heavy double doors, leading them into the main room of the club. The decor was dark, plush velvet chairs and extravagant mirrors everywhere. Almost old fashioned but with a distinctively modern feel. Booths and tables lined the walls, with a bar on one side of the room and a dance floor in the center. Dotted around the room were sharply dressed guys, sporting nicely done hair and charming smiles, and young women in more casual attire, fawning over every spoken word from their male counterpart.

Everything and everyone looked so expensive, and Shou felt as if he was burning a hole in his wallet just by standing there.

It didn't take a genius to figure that it was a host club.

A short - bleach blonde guy made his way over, greeting Saga with a warm grin.

"What are you doing here? Your shift is on Thursday, Did you miss me that much?" He smirked, elbowing the brunette in the ribs.

"Oh Hiroto...With all of my heart" He cried dramatically, pulling the smaller into a tight embrace, pressing his blonde head against his chest. "Actually I need to speak to Aoi about something"

Hiroto freed himself, looking at Shou with an almost disgusted expression.

"Another sleazy slime ball who got what he wanted and refused to pay?"

"No. Look, I need to just speak to Aoi but I'll let you know about it later okay" He said, grabbing Shou's arm and walking swiftly towards the corner of the club where a door was located. He gave three swift knocks before opening the door and going inside.

The entire room was a pure, shining white. From the large desk in the enter, sofa in the corner to the big cushy office chair. The only break of colour was the purple lit fishtank that filled the back wall, filled with beautiful exotic coloured fish, and of course, the dark haired inhabitant that occupied the chair in the center.

Who looked up with a nonchalant expression.

"Ahh Saga, what brings you here on a Tuesday?" He asked, setting his pen down on the desk.

Saga sat himself on the chair opposite, casually crossing his legs and resting his hands on his knee.

"Aoi, Remember when I helped you out that time and you said that you'd do me a favor whenever I needed it" He pouted slightly, causing Aoi to roll his eyes "Well I need to cash that in now"

"What is it that you need?"

"Well, long story short, my friend here unfortunately lost his job and we can no longer afford to rent our apartment, so we're gonna get thrown out onto the street. But I was wondering if you'd be able to give him a job. Please please pleeeeeaase?"

The raven haired male looked over at Shou, scratching the underside of his chin.

"Unfortunately I don't have any bartender, bouncer or even cleaning jobs available" He paused, seeing the slumping shoulders of the brunette infront of him.

"However, You are one of my favorites here, aannd I do owe you a favor. So I may consider giving him a position as a host. Tell me Saga... how's his conversational skills? Interests? hobbies?"

"Oh, Shou's a pleasure to talk to. He's really sophisticated but not in a condescending way. And he studies Forensic Science and Human biology so he's super smart. Trust me, the ladies will fall over themselves to spend time with him" Saga grinned.

Giving one last look at Shou, who stood awkwardly, fiddling with the bottom of his jacket nervously, Aoi heaved a sigh and leaved back in his chair.

"Alright, here's the deal; Bring him in with you on Thursday and I'll give him a trial and If all goes well, the job is his. But.. you need to do something about his appearance. I can't have him looking like a wardrobe vomiting the 80's all over him, okay? Go and get him some nice suits and get a hair cut, I'll add whatever you spend to your paycheck."

Saga jumped up in excitement giving the manager a big kiss on the cheek and ruffling his hair in a cheeky manner.

"Thank you so much Aoi. You will not regret this. I promise!" He cried. He gave Aoi one last bow of thanks before pulling Shou out of the office.

Hiroto was leaning against the bar as they came out, a sly looking smirk on his lips.

"Did Aoi get him to cough up the cash? Oooh did he use the taser?"

"Pon" Saga frowned "Don't be so grim, and no he didn't. Anyway, Shou here is my flat mate so be nice to him"

The younger's eyes darted between the two "You guys live together?"

"Yes, now I'm really sorry but we have a billion things we need to do so we're gonna go, but I'll see you on thursday"

Before Shou knew it he was back in a taxi and boy was he fuming.

"What the fuck was that all about?" He snapped, glaring daggers at Saga who seemed surprised at his outburst. "Did you even think to consult me about any of this? What if I don't want the damn job?"

"Yeah, because you're really in the position to refuse aren't you? Shou, if you don't get this job then we'll lose the apartment. Do you how difficult it is to get a hosting job, how many guys would kill to be given this kind of opportunity? You could at least be a little bit more grateful"

The blonde sighed, Saga was right. He was only doing it to help him and who was he to deny a job?

"I guess you're right" He mumbled, sinking further into the seat.

"I'm always right, sweet cheeks." The younger grinned, pulling out his phone and typing furiously "Right then, we'll go and get you a nice suit, then we'll go to the salon for your hair appointment which I have just booked. But first we need to get rid of these monstrosities" He removed the glasses from Shou's face and snapped them clean in half with a look of triumph.

"I kinda need those to see you jackass" Shou said, slapping a hand over his forehead causing Saga to freeze.

"Ah.. well... We'll stop off at the opticians first and get you some contact lenses. Is your eyesight really that bad?"

"Not really but I need them to read stuff"

"Shit.. sorry about that"

Shou felt stupid, stood in the changing rooms of a designer mens store trying on a stylish silk suit. It was well made and looked as if it was tailored for his body, but he felt ridiculous and so out of place. Guys like him didn't belong in expensive stores like that.

Saga on the other hand seemed pleased, giving him a thumbs up.

"It's prefect. That looks so much better than the disaster you put on this morning."

With that, the suit was taken to the till and purchased. Shou didn't argue, it was pointless to resist.

He also felt stupid as he sat in the chair at the hair salon. The stylist eyeing him as he walked in circles around him.

"So Tatsuro, What do you have in mind?" Saga asked, looking up from the magazine that was resting on his lap.

"Okay Shou" The long haired man stopped infront of the blonde in the chair. "First off I was thinking ..dye it somewhat darker, to a more warm tone because frankly, dirty blonde with mile long roots do nothing for your pale skin tone. The cut some layers and thin it out a bit to make it more manageable and easier to style. Of course, only if that's alright with you?"

In all honesty, Shou didn't really care. He was just glad that someone was finally addressing him and not talking about him to Saga.

"Do whatever you want, just as long as I don't end up bald"

Tatsuro smiled, grabbing his tools and getting to work.

It was clear that Tatsuro was skilled at his job, a god put on earth to massage the scalp in the most beautiful ways. Though that didn't stop Shou from wincing every time a strand of hair was chopped off. Saga stopped paying attention and glued himself back to his magazine.

It was an hour or so later when the raven haired male finally finished.

Putting the last finishing touches by arranging the last few locks of hair before stepping back to admire his handy work.

"All done"

Saga looked up and gasped, jumping out of his chair.

"Oh my god. Suro.. you've really out done yourself this time" He spun the chair so that Shou was facing the mirror.

"Wow..." he was speechless. His hair was now a medium shade of auburn brown, with plenty of layers. Strange how something so simple could change his appearance so dramatically.

"Look at that" Saga beamed, throwing an arm around him and pressing their cheeks together "You can finally see those lovely big brown eyes of yours. He even shaped your brows too. Simply outstanding work Tatsuro" He said turning to the stylist and reaching for his wallet.

"How much do I owe you?" The other simply put his hand up.

"Nothing. This one is on the house. You come here so often that it's the least I could do. Plus I do enjoy a challenge"

Saga coudn't help but grin, giving Tatsuro a hearty embrace. Things really were going well.

The two eventually finished up and went home, Spending a few hours in the bathroom with Saga teaching Shou and decent skin care routine and how to wear contact lenses. Of course there was alot of whining and complaining from Shou, but he soon quietened down allowing Saga to apply just the smallest bit of eyeliner for impact. Then finally ending up in Saga's bedroom. Where he stripped Shou of his beige disaster and dressed him up in a pair of his trendy ripped jeans that hugged his legs in all the right ways, and a smart-casual black button up shirt. Revealing a figure that neither of them realized he had.

"Oh my God" The brunette breathed "Shou you look gorgeous"

He pushed Shou towards the full length mirror, causing him to raise his eyebrows in shock.

"I don't even look like me anymore"

The Shou he'd woken up as was scruffy and unkept, hiding beneath his bangs and baggy clothing. Not bothering to make an effort with his appearance and verging on ugly, But the Shou looking back at him looked damn good, clean and smartly dressed. Much better than the reflection that he had spent so much time avoiding before.

No wonder Tora had left him.

He turned towards Saga with a small smile.

"Thank you" He said quietly.

"You are more than welcome. Actually I've been dying to do this, I knew there was a stunner under all of that hair and fabric" The younger replied merrily.

"I really mean it Saga. Thank you"

To anyone looking in, it may have been missed, but there was an exchanged look, a glance. Eyes lingering just a few seconds too long, broken by Shou who looked down with rosy cheeks.

Saga cleared his throat and turned away "You should get an early night, we have alot to go over tomorrow. I'm gonna get ready for work"

Shou simply nodded, not uttering a word as he left. Leaving Saga to release the breath he didn't even know he was holding.

What a day.

Thursday rolled around in a flash. Wednesday had been spent going over conversational practice and discussing the rules of hosting. making sure that Shou felt confident enough for whatever Aoi would ask.

So there they were, descending the stairs into the club. With each step Shou felt himself growing more and more nervous.

What if he was a shit host?

What if he accidentally insulted someone?

What if he didn't get the job?

They'd lose the apartment, where would Saga go? Would they ever speak again?

"Hey" Saga said, snapping him out of his thoughts and giving his back a quick rub, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just nervous"

"Don't be. You're gonna do great. Just be yourself okay" He gave any last minute adjustments to Shou's hair and outfit and then pushed through the double doors.

Being later in the evening the club was considerably busier than it had been the last time they entered. The lights were lowered, with each booth having it's own lights to give a romantic glow. Everything seemed much more alive. With more people dotted around, Groups of young women, the occasional middle aged man and of course the charming looking hosts. The buzz of music and conversation flowing throughout.

As they got closer to the office Shou felt his heart pounding. Saga knocked on the door, making his pulse race and by the time they were stood in the office, the noise of the club muffled by the now closed door, he was sure that his heart was going to burst out of his rib cage.

Aoi looked up from his paperwork. Lips twisting into a smirk.

"Ah Saga, lovely to see you again. I see you've brought company"

He rose up from his chair and slowly walked around the now auburn Shou, his eyes wandering over every inch of him. Making every nerve on his body tingle in anxiety, only to tense up as the other stopped beside him, leaning into his ear.

"Good evening Shou"

Authors notes- Well, I do apologize about the quality of this chapter. I had finished it a few days ago, but then when I opened it to update my document was blank (as where all of my other fics) So I've been manically trying to remember everything that I had written. Sadly it's not quite as good as it was originally but I hope you can forgive me under the circumstances.
ALL OF THAT ASIDE.. Saga's plan of saving their apartment has lead to an extreme makeover. Grubby nerd to sexy host... Y/Y? Let's hope he actually gets the job.
Also, a small hint of SagaxShou too C:
