Summary: When a beautiful guy enters Tora's life, he's smitten. Unfortunately Shou has a secret and he doesn't want to share it


Shou felt his entire being crack, shattering into a thousand pieces. Surely this couldn't be true. It was as if he had fallen into the ocean and sunk right to the bottom. He could see the doctors lips moving but he didn't hear a world. He just couldn't process anything, simply sat there nodding.
Before he knew it the doctor had left, leaving him compleatly alone.
Shakily he got to his feet, needing to get out of the shrinking room. Walking down the corridor suddenly seemed like quite a difficult task, having to use the wall for support. The influx of oxygen flooding his lungs as he reached the hospitals garden nearly spun him off of his feet. He managed to regain some form of rational thinking which lead him to a bench.
So many thoughts zoomed around his skull creating more and more confusion and stress, to the point of wanting to scream and rip his hair out. Of course neither or those reactions would make it go away.
Perhaps if he ignored it, it would simply go away. That sounded like a legitimate plan.

"Hey baby" Tora beamed walking over to kiss Shou's cheek, "are you ready to go?"
"Yep, the doctor just gave me all my meds just before the came" The brunette said, reaching for his bag, which was abruptly taken by Tora.
"I've got it honey, lets go then, get you home finally" He sighed happily before wrapping an arm around the younger's waist.
The drive was clam and relaxing, they simply sat in silence, not really needing to communicate. Shou looked out of the side window, while Tora drove.

"Ahhhh, Its so good to be out of that freakin hospital" Shou stretched as they entered Tora's apartment. Tora had decided that Shou would stay with him until he was better, because he wasn't keen on the idea of the other being on his own. Plus he hadn't seen him in two weeks so he was missing him quite terribly.
"Its good to have you back Shou" He purred hissing Shou's neck lovingly, causing an accidental moan to escape the others lips. "I've really missed you y'know, I felt like someone had cut of my arm or something"
"I missed you too Tora" The younger smiled, caressing Tora's arm lovingly before placing a kiss on it.
"Right" Tora sighed, "You go relax on the couch, I'll sort us for food and put on a movie okay"

He knew it probably wasn't dreadfully romantic or sentimental, sprawling on the sofa watching a terribly written action movie whilst eating pudding, but with Shou curled up on his lap, his heart felt warmed. He couldn't help but stare at the pretty features of the younger's face, large eyes currently drooping from fatigue, cute button nose, smooth rosy cheeks. In the mist of his admiration, he didn't notice the pudding slip off of his spoon until he saw it land on said cheek. Shou's eyes widened in surprise.
"Ah, Shou I'm sorry" Tora laughed before leaning down and slurping the sweet dessert off of his face comically making the younger laugh a little.
"Tora, what on earth.."
"Sorry baby, I was distracted" he gently stroked Shou's silky hair. "I was really worried about you Shou." He said with an almost sad tone in his voice, "Don't you ever let yourself get in that state again, If something's wrong tell me okay? You're so precious to me.... So precious" Tears swelled up in his eyes, tears that he desperately tried to blink away before Shou saw, but he wasn't fast enough.
A hand reached out and soothed his cheek, its thumb gently wiping away a falling drop.
"Tora, Please don't cry" Shou whispered. His lips pressing against Tora's "I never wanted to hurt you, you mean too much to me"

Their lips met again, with more feeling growing more passionate. Arms wrapped around each other like a loving security blanket. One swift movement and Shou was lifted off of the couch into Tora's arms. Leading him to the bedroom.
The mattress felt so good on his back compared to the horrid hospital beds and Tora's hands..... Oh god, they felt amazing caressing his skin like that, he felt as if he was picking at the lock that Shou's mind had unconsciously chained up. Fingers dancing across his quickly heating skin, skillful lips caressing his neck before their shirts were removed. Tora started kissing his way down his torso, drawing soft moans from Shou's lips. Gently stroking the bandages covering his chest.
He felt Tora hesitate when his fingers reached the waist band of his sweatpants. Looking into his eyes.
"Shou?"
"Don't stop" He breathed, squeezing his eyes shut, trying to swallow the nerves that crept into his stomach.
With a nod, Tora slowly pulled away the bothersome clothing, revealing silky pale skin. Eyes flitting up to catch the adorable blush on Shou's cheeks.
His hand took grasp of Shou's length, massaging it until he felt it growing hard beneath his fingers. Kissing the tip, he brought his lips over it, engulfing it within his warm mouth.
"Oh God!" The younger moaned. Hiding his face in the crook of his elbow.

He couldn't remember a time where he had felt such pleasure, every nerve tingling as Tora's sinful lips worked up and down his shaft, teeth scraping gently over the vein. His mouth was just so hot and welcoming. He couldn't suppress the moans of pleasure that spilt from his lips. His fingers clutching to the sheets.
Tora bobbed his head up and down, drinking up the delicious sounds the younger was making. His hands firmly on his hips to prevent him bucking up. He could tell that Shou was trying his very hardest to keep his cool, but the more Tora sucked and pumped, the more he lost control. It was also obvious that he was close by way his voice was growing louder and his body tensed.
With one last suck Shou's control snapped, spilling his seed into Tora's mouth with a cry of Ecstasy. The elder swallowed with a smile, laying next to his panting lover and gently stroking stray bangs from his face. He was pleased that Shou was brave enough to take such a huge leap with him, given his chronic fear of anything intimate.
Shou however, was too embarrassed to open his eyes, he couldn't believe he had so willingly let Tora do that. He wanted to turn away but before he could, he felt strong arms wrap around him and a loving kiss placed on his temple.
"My god you're beautiful" Tora sighed happily. snuggling up to him. The brunette felt himself relax, the feeling of shame and embarrasment disappear. Melting against him with a smile.

The morning sun graced the room, showing it with a warm glow. On the bed, the couple were now awake, talking softly as they held each other.
"Let's go out today" Tora announced "I wanna take you out for breakfast and a little shopping trip"
Shou looked up at him and snorted, "That's a little feminine of you Tora, whats next, sex in the city box set with ice cream and chocolate?" He smirked, In response, Tore flipped him over and blew a large raspberry on his bare tummy making him giggle uncontrollably.
"That's enough from you, Now go get dressed before I get tempted to take you out naked" Tora remarked with a dark grin. Shou didn't need to be told twice, he got to his feet and headed into the bathroom for a shower.

Once the door closed, his smile faded, replaced with a sigh. Looking in the mirror he was met by depression. The bandages were removed, revealing a thick long scar running down the center of his chest. A dark reminder of the doctors words. Hot water doused his skin as the shower was turned on. His fingers gently traced over the scar, he really didn't want to tell Tora anything, as far as he was concerned, everything was alright and things between them was going well.
Once he'd finished showering he grabbed a towel and went back into the bedroom, fixing his smile back in place. Tora must have been in the kitchen, so he could change in peace.

They ended up finding a cute little English style cafe for breakfast, Tora had a full cooked breakfast while Shou had a large stack of pancakes. Shou decided he liked that place and put it on his mental list of favorite places to eat. When they had finished, they ventured into the heart of the city to do some shopping.
The two of them had a laugh trying on all sorts of strange and bizarre outfits. Where Tora learnt that Shou had the perfect legs for mini skirts and hot pants and that he himself should never wear jeans in Shou's size, in fear of crushing his manhood.
It was in another shopping mall that they found themselves wandering around a stylish mens clothes store. Everything was well made and seemed to sparkle with sophistication. Tora picked up several items from the shelves as Shou was busy looking at the shoes.
"Hey, Go try these on, I wanna see what they look like on you" He smiled, shoving the clothes into the others arms and pushing him towards the fitting room.

It was a few moments later when he saw the fitting room door open slowly. The younger stepped out sheepishly. Tora's eyes grew to the size of dinner plates. Every item of clothing looked as if it was tailored just for him, the slim fitting vest, the loose flowing long cotton cardigan, revealing subtle collarbones and the way the torn jeans hugged his thin legs, it all looked so perfect.
"Oh good lord" He exclaimed, seeming to shock the other into blushing.
"I knew it didn't look right" Shou blustered, turning to go back into the fitting room, but Tora was quick to grab his wrist.
"No no, It looks amazing, come.." He gently moved him over to the full length mirror, standing behind him with a smile. "See, looks beautiful"
Shou looked at his reflection, flashes of an unreadable expression flickering over his face. Tora's hands snaked round and intertwined with his own, lips caressing the side of his neck.
"I guess so" he muttered quietly.
"What's up baby?" The elder asked in concern, realizing that Shou wasn't acting his usual happy self. "Does your chest hurt?"
"A little, I think I just need to sit down"
"Okay, well you go change and we can go grab some coffee, okay" Tora smiled.

After alot of protesting from Shou, Tora had purchased the outfit. In the end he had resorted to a distraction technique, the was no way he wasn't getting it for the brunette.
The coffee shop was surprisingly quiet, they were served quickly and seated themselves in the best most comfortable arm chairs.
Shou melted into the seat as he sipped his cinnamon coffee.
"Best damn coffee ever" He sighed happily. "Here, try it" He passed it to Tora who took a sip.
"That's a bit sweet and spicy for me" He coughed.
"Don't like spicy things, do you Tiger?" A voice said.
The two of them looked up to see a shaggy blonde male, stood casually holding a latte.
"What are you doing here?" Tora asked in an almost harsh tone.
The stranger laughed and shook his head.
"Really now, that's not very polite is it?" He pulled up a chair and seated himself inbetween the couple.
"You haven't even introduced me to your friend here" He smiled, looking at Shou.
He extended his hand "I'm Saga"
"I'm Shou"
"Yes, This is Shou" Tora interjected "My Boyfriend!"
Saga faked a gasp and grabbed Shou's knee. "Really now? how interesting, So tell me, where did you meet?" he asked.

It was very clear that Saga was making Shou feel uncomfortable, which was irritating for Tora.
"We met at a club a few months ago" Shou said trying to free his leg.
"Ah probably on one of his hunts for an easy fuck" the Blonde stated bluntly. Tora frowned deeply.
"Show some class Saga" He growled.
"Oh baby, I had class before I met you, remember?" Saga grinned "you should be careful Shou, this one's an animal, of course, I'm sure you can vouch for that"
That was enough for Tora to snap.
"That's it, Saga, take a hint and fuck off" He yelled to which the blonde simply rolled his eyes and stood up. But before he left he leaned over and whispered something in Shou's ear, then kissed him sensually on the corner of his lips. Taking his latte and walking out of the shop.
Tora looked over at Shou worriedly, His eyes fixed on his coffee, eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as if deep in thought.
"Shou, baby whats wrong?" He asked, placing a hand on top of Shou's simply to have it shaken off.
"I wanna go home now, I'm tired" He muttered, rising from his seat.

Tora was quick to follow. What on earth was going on, why did Shou's mood suddenly change? He spotted the possible cause of the problem to his left, leaning against a wall.
The raven haired male grabbed hold of him and slammed him against the wall.
"What the fuck are you doing Saga?" He spat. The blonde smirked.
"I'm just having fun Tiger, nothing wrong with that is there?" He smiled devilishly.
"There is if you start dragging Shou into it, he doesn't need your shit, now what the hell did you say to him?" another heavy handed push had Saga laughing darkly.
"I just let him into a little secret, a home truth if you wanna call it that. Nothing you need to worry about" despite trying, Tora was finding it exceedingly difficult to keep his temper under control.
"Stop trying to ruin my life, you bastard"
"oh Tora, I'm over you, It's your little butterfly I'm interested in" Saga sang.
"You stay the fuck away from him"
"Make me"
"I mean it" Tora hissed, his lips mere inches away from the others ear "Even so much as touch him, and I will kill you Saga, I can promise you that" He stormed off before he lost it big time.

"Shou!" Tora cried, following him into the apartment "Shou hold up" The other apparently wasn't listening as he walked straight into the bedroom and slammed the door, locking it behind him.
"Shou, What's wrong?" He called leaning against the door frame. "Open the door baby".
"Can you just leave me alone" A small voice said on the other side of the door.
"Please, Just open the door."
"Look, I don't want to talk right now so can you just go away and leave me alone" he snapped, making Tora reel back in shock. What on earth? He decided that it would be best to talk it over when Shou had cooled off a little, so retreated to the living room and switched on the TV.

Shou lay on the bed feeling miserable. He had so many crazy things swarming around his mind he felt like he wanted to explode. Rain lashed harshly against the window, creating an almost somber atmosphere. He rolled off of the bed a unlocked the door. Perhaps going for a walk would help wash the thoughts out of his mind. He walked swiftly to the front door, almost making it out before Tora rushed behind him.
"Where are you going?" He asked in a soft tone.
"Out"
It didn't matter how fast he walked, Tora was only 2 or 3 steps behind him. Not even the heavy rainstorm could deter him. Walking down the sidewalk, Shou tried his hardest to shake him off along with those pesky burdens.
"Shou, Wait" Tora called, his pace faltering allowing the younger to put more distance between them.
"Why are you being like this?" He cried catching up with him "Wait!!" He managed to grasp hold of him, stopping him in his tracks. Shou simply turned and pushed against him almost freeing himself, but Tora was determined not to let go.
"Shou, just fucking talk to me" He frowned, placing his grip firmly on his shoulders.
"I cant" Shou yelled, dropping his head, "I just, I cant"
"What exactly did Saga say to you, you've been acting like this since he spoke to you"
The brunette wriggled free and stepped back. His angry facade cracking just enough to let a sad sounding sigh escape.
"He said, He said..." Fingers combed through soaked hair " He told me that you'd fuck me and then leave when you get bored, just like you always do" without much thought he continued walking away.
Tora shook his head in disbelief, following close behind.
"And you took his word for it, just like that? I cant believe you Shou"
"Well I don't know what to believe Tora" Shou snapped, stamping his foot. "How am I meant to know who's right? Huh? One minute you're telling me we'll take it slow and the next, you're doing what you did last night"
"Well I didn't hear you complaining, what was all of that 'oooh Tora, Don't stop'?" He scoffed "If you were so against it, you should have said something"
"Will you shut up!" Shou practically screamed, "I just need to think, okay" Frustrated tears made their way down his cheeks, melting Tora's steely expression. He reached out and cradled the younger's cold cheek in his hand.
"About what? Whats causing you so much stress Shou" He soothed, trying to calm his lover down. It seemed to work as his shoulders dropped.
"I've just got so much going on right now" He sighed "I'm trying to make sense of it all, but I cant because we're always together, we have been since not long after we met. It's just too much, I feel like we're rushing into things and I just need time on my own"
Tora nodded almost in defeat, wrapping his arms around him and pulling them together.
"If you need space to clear your head, then I'll step back and hope you can get everything straight and I'll wait as long as it takes" He said sadly, embracing him tighter, feeling Shou's hands clutching at the back of his wet shirt and face burying in his neck. A love filled kiss placed on his head was the sign of understanding, before the two slowly and quietly made their way back to the apartment, not caring that the rain had drenched them.

Author's Notes- Poor Shou, Saga is such a bitch. I think I've crammed alot into this chapter; Angst, fluff, little bit of smut and even more angst. It also looks like Shou is still keeping secrets.
