Heart Shaped Clock - (Extra) Crappy Halloween

"Tora...Did you hear that?" Shou whispered.
They had been enjoying their evening by laying in bed together watching a marathon of scary movies whilst eating vast quantities of Halloween sweets, when there was a strange noise coming from somewhere in the apartment.
"Hear what? It's probably just the movie" Tora retorted taking his hand underneath the covers "Don't get all stressed."
With a nod, Shou settled back down and stuffed a few marshmallows in his mouth for good measure.
"There it is again, listen..."
Tora grabbed the remote and lowered the volume with a roll of the eyes, Shou really did have an over active imagination at times. Obviously Halloweens combo of scary movies and sugar were fueling his brains tricks.
However, he suddenly heard something coming from deep in the apartment. He felt his lover tense up next to him.
"Okay, I defiantly heard something" He whispered "Let's just check it out, it could be nothing"
Slowly the two climbed out of the bed without making too much noise. The brunette crept over to the closet and pulled out Tora's baseball bat.
"Shou, what the heck are you going to do with that?"
"Well, what if it's a monster or something" He hissed "I'm gonna take that fucker down"
Silently, Tora opened the bedroom door. Pausing to check that the coast was clear, Shou was close behind him. As they tip toed through the living room there was a loud bang followed by clattering.
"What the fuck was that?" Tora frowned, feeling his heart beat a little harder. He started to wish that he hadn't turned all of the lights off as the dark was making him feel jumpy.
"There's light coming from the kitchen, it's probably where the noise is coming from" Shou said quietly, gripping the bat tightly. Moving quickly and quietly to the side of the kitchen doorway, poised and ready to pounce. They exchanged glances and upon hearing another bang jumped out from their hiding place with a yell.
"Hiroto?"
The blonde slumped over the counter, clutching a frying pan over his face as protection. Clad in blood splattered clothing, smelling strongly of booze and cigarettes clearly he'd just come from some Halloween event.
"Pon what are you doing here?" Shou asked, lowering the bat and resting it against the wall.
"I got a bit drunk and made an ass of myself, so Nao won't let me back into the apartment" Hiroto cried, dropping the pan loudly onto the worktop, causing a shrill clang.
"More importantly" Tora frowned "How did you get in here?"
"I gave him a key for emergencies" Shou said, walking around the counter to where his best friend stood, watery eyes and quivering lip. Shou was used to seeing Hiroto drunk, he usually went one of two ways when intoxicated. Either deliriously happy and cheerful or he'd go into a spiral of stupid decisions and emotions, which in most cases ended his night in tears or anger.
"I wanted to make him an omelet to say sorry, but I can't switch on the stove" He seemed to deflate, loosing all of his spirit.
Tora sighed, Hiroto had obviously been unsuccessful in getting the eggs into the pan, as they were cracked over the counter and on the floor.
"C'mon Hiroto" Shou soothed "Let's get you to bed, I'll call Nao in the morning and everything will be fine" He lead the younger out of the kitchen, leaving Tora to clean up the mess.
It wasn't long before he retreated back to the bedroom, shortly joined by his tired looking lover who climbed into bed next to him.
"I put the couch cushions down in the office, he's asleep now" Shou yawned.
"So much for a quiet evening together huh?" The elder smirked "I guess Halloween is never relaxing"
Shou scoffed, sinking further into the mattress.
"You look exhausted Shou, let's just ditch the movies and get some sleep"
The brunette nodded and switched the TV and lamp off, snuggling close to him to soak up the warmth radiating from his body.
"Don't you worry" Tora hushed "Tonight has been a bit tricky, but tomorrow, once Hiroto has gone, I'll be sure to give you your treat."

Authors Notes - A little extra I wrote this afternoon. Set between chapters 10 and 11, first of the little extras I have been writing. Sorry it's not a proper update, but the next chapter is not quite finished. It will be up soon though so thank you for your patience.
