The light- catchy tune of the purikura machine music was something that Ruki had grown to love. It had become a familiar sound that let him relax and be himself. Normally he refused to smile in photos, never wanting to lose his bad boy image, but as soon as he heard that playful melody he couldn't resist. The wallet full of purikura stickers was enough proof of that.

Of course, the real reason he smiled inside those booths ran a little deeper than a simple tune. Ruki was in love!

It began in the winter, at a friends New Years eve party. Ruki didn't really want to go, parties weren't exactly his thing but with the mention of free booze he couldn't refuse.

They met over by the sink, igniting a conversation about whatever song was playing at the that moment- Ruki liked it, the other didn't.

It was that night when he discovered that he liked kissing people with lip piercings. Caught off guard by a drunken yet strong kiss in the bathroom, so intoxicating and inviting that Ruki could barely think straight.

Their next encounter was by chance, in a supermarket over at the milk section. They greeted each other like old friends, some how it felt that way, despite only knowing one another for a night and part of a hung over morning. After that they called, text and emailed each other.. alot. Within a few short weeks the two knew each other like the back of their hand.

After a shot of JD for Dutch courage, Ruki decided to ask the other on a date and practically falling over with astonishment when he said yes.

One date became another, and then another until they were tarting to get really serious about each other. They decided to keep it on the down low, after all new relationships could be fragile and the last thing they needed was their friends prodding at them every two seconds. Ruki had never felt that way for anyone so he wasn't taking any chances.

"Hey Ruki" Miyavi smirked, ruffling the other's blonde locks "What are you smiling at?"

"Nothing" Ruki smiled, his cheeks tinged a light shade of pink "I was just ... nothing, sorry"

Tattooed arms snaked around him, stroking affectionately at his abdomen "Don't apologize, It's real cute. I was just curious"

Ruki grinned, reaching over to put some money into the coin slot of the purikura machine causing it to spring to life.

Miyavi loved Ruki's addiction to those machines, they often went and took some together, then Miyavi would stick them into a sticker album to keep them safe. He knew that they weren't exactly a precious heirloom but he treasured them all the same.

Of course, due to his busy work hours, they didn't get to take some together as often as they would have liked. But once a week a small envelope would appear in his draw at the music shop.

Ruki would take purikura of himself, some cool and bad ass looking, some cute and some just downright dirty. Ruki always hoped that Shou wasn't nosy enough to peek inside the envelopes... luckily he wasn't. Strangely, he hadn't once cottoned on to their relationship, nor did he ever question the envelopes.

Miyavi always looked forward to getting them every week, it was often the highlight of his hectic week.

"Say cheese!" Miyavi laughed before the camera flashed. The two had hung back from the rest of the group who were celebrating Hiroto's stag party. They were busy decorating the photo's they'd taken a few moments ago when Ruki pulled Miyavi into another machine for some of their own. They could hear the others just a few feet away laughing and causing a racket.

They continued to pose for a few more pictures when suddenly the shorter male pulled Miyavi down by his collar and pressed their lips together, forging his tongue past pierced lips as the camera flashed for the last time.

That rascal.

Quad biking had turned out to be alot more fun than any of them had anticipated. Watching Yomi fall off into the only large expanse of sludge and witnessing Aki and Hitsugi crashing into each other had almost caused Miyavi to bust a gut with so much laughter that he thought he'd possibly gone insane. But the thing he liked the most, besides the sheer thrill of it all was watching his little lover become a speed freak. Letting his comparative streak take hold as he raced towards the finish line with an amused fury.

"You'll never catch me Miyavi!" He cheered, throwing a teasing look over his shoulder before slamming on the accelerator.

Damn that boy knew exactly how to get Miyavi riled up.

It was some hours later when they reached the hotel, showing and getting ready for a night on the tiles.

Ruki was busy fixing his hair when he felt two hands on his hips and a kiss placed to his shoulder.

"Hey you" He smiled, putting his comb down momentarily to turn his head and return the kiss. Fingers raking through jet black hair before he switched his focus back to the mirror in front of him once again.

"Are the others ready yet?" He asked, glancing at his lover through the mirror.

"Yeah, we're just waiting for Shou to get off of the phone so we can leave" Miyavi chuckled warmly "I think Yomi is gonna go and strangle him if he doesn't hang up soon"

"Who is he talking to?"

"Tora I think."

Ruki shook his head in amusement "Jesus, those two are so clingy"

"Not really, you have to take into consideration what they have to deal with" Miyavi said giving him a pointed look.

"I guess so. Anyway, shall we go to Aki's room and see if he's ready?" The blonde asked as he threw his phone into his back pocket.

"Sure"

The nightclub was packed to the rafters. Pumping with the heavy beat of the music and humid heat hanging over every inch of the dance floor. The atmosphere was electric and alcohol was flowing like water. The perfect setting for Hiroto's send off.

The stag party group had been there for a good few hours and were having a fantastic time, drinking and dancing their asses off.

Miyavi on the other hand was sober, having only consumed a few light drinks as Ruki had decided not to drink out of fear of a hangover and the two were sharing a room, so the taller didn't want his lover to be bothered by his drunken antics.

The only problem was that he couldn't find said lover. He wasn't too worried, Ruki was a big boy.. obviously not height wise but he could look after himself. Miyavi was just a little bummed that he'd lost him in the ocean of bodies, he'd really wanted to dance with him.

Never the less, he was having a good time.

He cast his eyes over to the bar, where the two singles in their group- Hitsugi and Yomi were doing shots, laughing cheerfully as they downed each one.

Aki seemed happy enough cradling his bottle of bud as he leaned casually against the bar a few feet away from them.

Over on the dance floor he could see Hiroto dancing with Shou, jumping around to the thumping music. They looked like they were having fun so he decided to leave them to it. He scanned the dance floor once again, watching as people moved with the rhythm with such ease, their limbs becoming liquid in their movements. Strobe lights illuminating them with each flash.

Then something caught his eye, a small blonde over to the left side of the floor. Miyavi grinned wildly before weaving his way through the thriving crowd.

However, the sight that met him wiped the smile from his face in an instant.

There was Ruki, pressed up against the body of a stranger with the man's hands groping at his rear. Lips ghosting over the skin of his neck seductively as their hips ground together with the rhythm of the music. Ruki smiled deviously with every kiss that pressed his neck and ran his fingers through the man's hair.

Miyavi was furious.

He stomped over and grabbed the back of Ruki's shirt and dragged him from the dance floor. Not without a shout of protest from the shorter male, but Miyavi didn't care, he could only see a red mist blurring everything in his vision.

They soon reached an empty corridor just beyond the toilets, obscured enough not to be seen and far enough from the dance floor to be able to speak without shouting.

Tattooed arms shoved Ruki forcibly against the wall, hitting his head with a dull thud.

"What the fuck was that?" Miyavi growled fiercely.

The blonde took a few moments to realize who he was with, it'd all happened so fast and had been a bit of a blur.

"What?" He mumbled with an air of confusion, or sarcasm, Miyavi wasn't sure.

"What the fuck was that shit you pulled on the dance floor with that random guy? You were practically fucking him"

"Oh c'mon, I was only dancing with him."

"Yeah? Looks like it. For fuck sake Ruki, did you have to be so slutty?"

The blonde scoffed, crossing his arms as he averted his gaze from the taller.

"Why does it matter? It's not like we're exclusive or anything" The words left a bad taste in his mouth, a lump in his throat and an ache in his heart that he didn't want to acknowledge. But the more he ignored it, the more it hurt. Especially when Miyavi looked at him with those offended eyes and heaved a heavy sigh.

"Why don't you want to tell anyone about us?" He asked, cupping Ruki's cheek in his hand as he tried to make the other look at him "Are you scared that they might laugh at you for liking me?"

The blonde peered up at him. His heart clenching with every beat.

Why did Miyavi have such an affect on him?

"No.." He trailed off before taking a deep breath "I'm scared that they'll laugh at you for liking me. I'm just the short- moody midget with far too many flaws."

He cursed himself when tears pricked at his eyes. When had he become so emotional?

He felt Miyavi caress his warm cheek gently with his thumb, giving him a soft smile that made his insides flip.

"But that's what I like about you" He said compassionately "I love it when you act all pissy and grumpy when you're actually happy inside. I'm drawn to your so called flaws because you have a sweet heart and that's what really attracts me to you.

I love that it takes two cups of coffee to wake you up in the morning, and that you enjoy making up cheesy songs about red mufflers on the guitar. I love it when you fall asleep on me and I have to carry you to bed, and when you nag at me to help you with the washing up. And I adore the fact that you're a fluffy lap dog enthusiast. Ruki, you're the smartest, coolest and most genuine person I've ever met." He smiled "I want nothing more than to tell everyone about us, I'd shout it from the roof tops and announce it on the national news if I could. I don't want us to be a secret anymore. I really do love you Ruu!"

Ruki could only stare at him, his mouth hanging open in shock. He certainly hadn't expected such a speech to fall from Miyavi's lips. He wasn't even sure how to react. His entire world seemed to be going at a thousand miles an hour, his heart beating so fast that it felt like it was humming.

"I don't know what to say..." He frowned as he felt his cheeks flush several different shades of flustered.

"Well you could look a little happier" Miyavi chuckled.

"No.. I am happy, I just never knew you felt like that. I thought you weren't that serious about us, I thought that perhaps I cared about you too much and that I'd only end up getting hurt. Maybe even more than I was hurting already"

Those long slender arms wrapped around him, drawing him closer to the warm body of the other.

"You know I'd never hurt you Ruu, I wish I'd told you sooner but you're hard to read. I wasn't going to just blurt it out and have you vanish"

"Well I'm not going anywhere Miyavi. I fucking love you" He smiled before pulling the taller down by the collar to crash their lips together.

They'd kissed, many times before, but this one felt so much different. More meaning behind those lips, more emotion carried through the caressing of tongues. Ruki's fingers clung ever so tightly to the fabric of his lover's shirt, not wanting to let go for even a second.

The kiss grew hungrier, the need to be closer becoming ever more apparent.

The blonde pulled away with a smirk.

"Let's go back to the hotel"

Of course Miyavi didn't even need to voice a response, simply grabbing Ruki's hand and pulling him eagerly out into the fresh night air.

Two bodies tumbled onto the plush mattress, limbs tangled in an intricate tapestry of passion. Kisses and teasing bites are exchanged as nimble fingers make light work of annoying layers of fabric boundaries.

They skip foreplay, it's not needed tonight.

They are already in the moment, skin on skin, lips fighting, hands on any part of the body that was available to them.

Ruki can only grip only Miyavi's hair, biting down on his shoulder as lean hips grind into him with each slick thrust. A rapid pace that had his back arching from the bed and writhing within Miyavi's arms. Moaning louder and louder.

So good, so fucking good.

He was soon seeing stars, head falling back against the pillows as he all but screamed out, spilling his pleasure over his stomach.

The tight clenching around his cock pulled Miyavi into ecstasy right along side him, moaning his name loud in his ear.

When he was spent, the raven haired collapsed onto the mattress next to his sweat slick lover, panting as he came down from his high.

"Tomorrow" Ruki stated simply.

Miyavi rolled onto his side and brought the other into a tight embrace and placed a soft hiss on his temple.

"Hmm?"

"We'll tell the others about our relationship tomorrow"

Miyavi's lips curved into a beaming smile, floating in their tender moment before flipping his lover onto his back and ravishing him once again.

He was looking forward to not having to sneak around, not having to pretend that his heart didn't crash violently into his rib cage every time Ruki so much as smiled at him.

But tomorrow could wait.

Author's notes- I just had to write these two together. They make such a sweet odd couple. I hope you all enjoyed the mental image of Ruki's sexy and vulgar photo stickers.
