Daylight Savings Early, and I can't be happier

Glad to get some extra daylight, given that I don't get enough as is. Of course, some people whine about it. Get over yourselves! You're just acting like a bunch of luddites when you say that 'DST violates the body's rhythms, and we should get up when our bodies tell us to'. Yeah, tell that to our bosses. Actually, I stand corrected. It also works for unemployed and people not in the labor force. I'm pretty much guessing most people (about 75%) fall into those categories.

Gonna be honest, DST is a measure to try to save energy. They say the annual savings are under 1%, (and in some places it actually loses money) and it does dick over people like farmers and construction crews who start at first light. These people do suddenly wind up starting work an hour later and thus ending work an hour later ( ... )

Personally, I agree, although my preference is that we have daylight savings year round. But either way -- pick one time standard and stick with it.
