New pet!
Well, I brought home a new roommate today, after months of research and preparation. Have a look:
Doesn't she look great? She's admittedly in a little bit of rough shape from the shoddy conditions the pet store was keeping her in, but she is so friendly and inquisitive! Though I think Jon might steal her from me, he loves her so much! hehe. She is a sub-adult bearded dragon, 13 inches from nose to tail.. about half her full size. I do not know how old she is yet, and I still need to get her checked by a vet, but I am excited nonetheless! I have honestly waned a beardie since I was 11 or 12... I'm so happy!
Now I just need to think of a name.
In other news, I moved into a nice new apartment at the start of this month, in a high-rise about 15 mins walk from where I used to live. This place is so much nicer, but I really miss my old roommates.
