"Can you hear me, replica...?"
Asch stands, exhausted, in the middle of a large room, surrounded by defeated oracle knights. As Asch waits, one of the soldiers stands and charges him; although he turns towards the yelling of the soldier, Asch doesn't react in time. A sickening sound can be heard as the oracle knight's sword stabs through Asch's abdomen, the knight only stopping as the sword runs Asch all the way through. Taking advantage of the situation, two other soldiers storm Asch, each embedding their own sword into him.
Asch quickly defeats the three soldiers, and then, clearly in large amounts of pain, manages to pull the sword from his stomach. He stumbles to a nearby pillar, collapsing against it.
"It looks like I had a little trouble...the rest is up to you."
And with that, he closes his eyes.
