I became... addicted is a good way to put it. Was in the darkroom printing for only 7 hours - the stuff I shot over the weekend. While waiting for the last batch in the third wash, snow came! A heavy wet-snow that lasted just as long as it took me to load film in the holga ...had I any energy for it. Drat. It was wild and gorgeous. Prints thoroughly washed, 8 minutes in the dryer, home again jiggety jig.
Wasted not a minute. Got out of all day socks and sneakers, put on an additional layer of clothing on top, put on the heavy duty boots and shot these. I'm cold tired hungry and blahhhh, but there's no denying that fresh snow is just beautiful. It could snow all day everyday and I'd shoot it.
Lifeguard in Wintertime. Not to be taken seriously (I think...)? It's my favorite winter-themed song.
