I have a friend that's a sous chef in a fine dining restaurant in Dallas. Just pimping her video. She is teaching how to create gourmet meals in small spaces.
No kidding. I know food too and she handles herself very very well. It all appears to come so effortlessly for her; that is a sign 1) she loves it 2) she's good.
Good gosh. Did you watch that show? What a joke. The guy that won calls it "Coke the van" and didn't know what a chipotle was, even though he was using them. Aaron is a nice guy and all, but I'd like my hosts on the Food Network to have a better grasp of what is going on.
This thing was rigged from the start. They even released the winner's name 3 days before the finale. The lack of skill some of these people had was terrible. Lisa was skilled and was learning to open up for the camera.
I've only watched part 1 so far (tight on time), but this looks awesome. I've subscribed to her channel. :) I loooove gnocchi and sweet potato gnocchi sounds even better. Definitely watching later to get the rest of this recipe. Maybe I'll even make it this weekend! :D
Also, she has amusing facial expressions. I like her. :)

I predict she'll have her own show some day. She's a natural in front of the camera.
