Dr. Reid is injured in an accident. The team rallies around him as he struggles to regain his health and sense of purpose. Written from the perspective of an outsider.

No, when I said canon Hotch, I meant with canon Hotch as the main character rather than another one of the team as a main character. But, like I said, this one caught my eye. Yes, the characterization seemed spot on! Good job.
This was so great. I could totally picture the team as they came to see Reid and the reactions of each member including Reid were completely in character. Great story.
Gresat fic. I love the team's interaction with Reid and his slow healing process. I think you captured his reactions to such a situation quite well. Really great job.
Really loved this. Would love another story in this line (can I hope Reid makes a full recovery?) or even back story or from someone else's point of view, but mostly because whenever I read a story I like I always want more. This was great, I loved the POV, and thanks for sharing.
I'm working on a piece that takes place an unspecified time after this one. Planning on some improvements in Reid's condition, but not sure a full recovery would be realistic at this point.
Thank you! I was thinking of Gideon too... I tried to make some allusion to his relationship with Reid (the chess set), but it would be interesting to have some actual interaction between the characters.

Did you mean canon Reid? Reid being blind deviates from the show, but I did my best to keep Hotch's reactions to the situation in character.
