For a long time we've been
marching off to battle

Alright, so this isn't technically a common saying or a well known child's game, but I'm pretty sure most of us were kids when this song came out. ;) Anyway. Every Hero(ine) needs a love interest. So this week we will be exploring the theme of romance.
THE CHALLENGE
This week's challenge is to make an icon depicting a hero(ine) and their love interest (reciprocal or unrequited - either way is fine). Of course... there's always a catch. ;) You must also in some way indicate that they are fighting for their love. It is up to you how you interpret that - be creative. (side note: the icon I posted this with is an example of the challenge!)

checklist/additional information
► your icon must use an official image from any shounen or seinen animanga series (unless text only)
► your icon must fit all the criteria
► be creative with your icons - there are no limitations aside from subject and lj icon standards (100x100px, 40 kb - .png is preferred as .jpg compression can leave behind some ugly artifacts)
► please read the rules before submitting
► your submission should be made like this, using the provided form:

► you may use your skip in this challenge, but please inform me if you are as It makes my life easier. This is the last challenge you can use a skip in.
