[Well. They appear to be attacking a tree trunk. A tree trunk with a crude stick figure and a spiky logo carved into it. The two pokemon are taking turns practicing their attacks on the ( Read more... )

[ Cliff is watching from the sidelines. Rascal the Electrike is draped over one shoulder, in usual fashion, while Specter the Gastly hovers closely over the other shoulder. ]

Damn, Ironhide. That's one way to get 'em to evolve.

... Y'know, I can't actually argue with that assessment.

It's pretty much the truth.

[... It still sounds hilarious coming from a grizzly old dude who used to be a giant robot, though.]

They're irritating children that can breathe fire, mimic Supersoakers, and knock things out with pulses of psychic energy. ... And most of them have fur.

[... Not that she'd ever refer to them as her children, though. That was just a LITTLE too close to being 'Mom' than Heather felt comfortable with. Nah, she'd settle for them remaining firmly in the 'pet' category. ... They still acted like kids, though.]

Mimic... what now?

[Calling them 'his' children is way too weird of a concept for an alien robot to fully grasp and adopt. He knows of children, and the general mindset of a young person -- it's easier to think of them like trainees.]

Hmn.

What about her? [He jerks a thumb at Napalm, who lowers her head to peer at Kisa.] Trained her most often.
