Oops, sorry, but I forgot to include that part! Its because most of your icons are a bit too orange...I noticed that the members don't like that kind of style that much.: )

sure! i think cropping tutorials would be really good to look at. This icon: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r237/maniac_aly/save/galadstill262.png has her head sorta centered in the middle and it would be much more interesting if it was cropped similar to your christina icon. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r237/maniac_aly/icons/marie39.png crops a little too much.

i think text tutorials would be good as well. text is personally my LEAST favorite thing to do myself!!! Also, _coquettish has a lot a great text brushes. They would be great to start of with... and then just try and model some of the text styles you see floating around.
