I put Christmas lights up in my room tonight and they're wonderful.

Um.. I'm jealous. My building is not allowed to have Christmas lights.

I broke my desklamp -- shattered bits ended up in my tea, it was sad -- and I'd love to replace it with a string of Christmas lights, I may just have to now.

I hardly recommend them. They give off a surpising amount of light AND they make you feel good.
