Research, research, research. Not on the very frustrating question of djinn and wishes now, though; on neurological damage from drugs, reactions to prosthetics, and the long-term prognosis for multiple transplant patients. Scully wanted to have more information for Triela on Thursday to work with.

After getting Scully's message, Raven headed downstairs to the second floor. She didn't have any classes today, so not much time passed between the leaving of the message and Raven tapping on the open door. "Dana?" she said. "How can I be of assistance?"

"Hi. Come on in, and shut the door?" Scully took off her glasses, and rubbed at her eyes. "I have a case through the clinic that's a little--" She sighed, hating to say it, mostly for Triela's sake. "Out of my league. I'd like your help, but it's delicate."

"Is someone sick?" Raven said, stepping inside and closing the door behind her as Scully had requested. "I would be happy to help. There is very little I cannot heal."

"Very sick." Scully gave Raven a sober, evaluating look, and gestured for her to take the other chair. "Triela. She's given me permission to talk to other people about her case, but I'd like you to keep this as private as you can." She grimaced. "Not that she'd mind, but... I'd like minimize any other gossip or distress that might come out of this. At least for now."

She pulled up some of her notes on Triela's case, and while the medical jargon might not be familiar to Raven, the overall tone of the writing probably showed her discouragement. "She's dying. Her primary physicians in Rome estimate that she has three months, at the outside."
