So if you did this last time (or at some point) and I forgot to get to you, because I have...no attention span, please feel free to use the same lyrics as last time. I will get to them all this round I PROMISE although it ...may take me a while.

i just wanna break you down so badly
well, i trip over everything you sayOnce upon a time there was a city made of metal and blue glass and green towers, spires twisting into the sky like beanstalks, and in these towers lived monsters. Some were monsters with teeth like gnashing knives who crushed the living with their names on paper, and some shone like the sun and sang beautifully, so that no one knew how they looked on the inside ( ... )

Aaand. More. CHAPTER TWO, if you will. showyourguns May 18 2008, 18:31:23 UTC
And so the boy ran on, faster and faster each day, until only the witch could catch him, and across the city he left a string of broken dolls and toys with air behind their long lashes and open mouths full of broken glass and glitter. The boy thought perhaps things would always be this way, and sometimes he looked at the witch and saw the world like a mirror in her eyes, but he had forgotten how to stop running.

To turn the old to new
And wipe our eyes of misty years
And see the future through

...some...verse of some kind. showyourguns May 27 2008, 23:26:43 UTC
The man you're working for isn't actually the man you talk to; it's this obscenely normal looking guy, bushy crew cut, horn-rimmed glasses, just somebody boring. He talks to you like there's a lot at stake, and somehow you don't think he's one of those schmucks who think the whole world is their cause, somehow you get the feeling he's doing this for someone he can touch. (Like somebody's father; you think about what yours told you and think maybe he'd approve of this.)

He laughs a little when you tell him your name, and you do too, you both know it's not real. (Or maybe it is, maybe it was, it's a name so generic someone somewhere must have had it. Lots of someones.) Anyway you laugh at your name and he gets you coffee and then it's down to business. He doesn't need to tell you things have to be kept quiet, that they should be discreet, you saw the shooting on TV, and while you know could hear the secrets in the sharp gasp, the way the whole room seemed to hold its breath when the body hit the floor, you don't quite know what ( ... )

If you, if you could get by
Trying not to lie
Things wouldn't be so confused
And I wouldn't feel so used
