“Jun-kun, why are you sad?”
“…”
“You won’t talk? Why won’t you talk? Can you not talk?”
Jun glares at the noisy boy besides him. He doesn’t want to talk, not in the mood for chit-chatting. “Go away.” He muttered, annoyed.
“Ne, Jun-kun, let’s play with me. I brought my cars. Come on!!” Sho insists the silent boy, tugging at his shirt’s sleeve.
“Go away I said!!!” Jun shouted, hitting Sho with so much strength he could muster.
“Ow!! Stop it, Jun-kun!! Onii-chan!!!” Sho screams for his brother when Jun hits him continuously.
“Jun-kun!”
“Sho-chan!”
Both elder brothers scream at the same time when they heard Sho shouting desperately and runs towards the boys immediately. Nino took Jun into his arms while Satoshi took Sho, separating them into a safe distance.
“Jun, stop!” Nino shouts at Jun’s ear when the boy keeps struggling to escape while his murderous look is not leaving Sho anytime.
Sho was trembling in Satoshi’s arms, curling himself as small as he can to hide himself inside Satoshi if that was possible. He buries his face to Satoshi’s chest, arms clutching at his brother’s arm and chest desperately. Satoshi lifts Sho in his arms and walks away, bringing his brother away from Jun, away from his sight. He saw Nino stands up with Jun in hand, walking away from the veranda too.
“Shhshhshh, Sho-chan. It’s okay now, you are okay.” Satoshi soothes his crying brother.
“W-why… why d-did he h-hit me?” Sho asks, trembling.
“I don’t know, sweetheart. Maybe he didn’t feel very well. Did you touch him?” Satoshi asks softly.
Sho nods, arms tightening to Satoshi’s biceps.
“Maybe he was not comfortable with people touching him suddenly. He must have not hurt you intentionally.”
“S-sho is s-sorry.” Sho mumbles miserably. He didn’t mean to hurt the other boy.
“Onii-chan knows. Calm down okay? When Jun is calm later, we can talk to him again.”
“Un.”
Satoshi rubs his palm at Sho’s back soothingly in attempt to calm him further. He shifts to the sofa to pour some tea into the cup, before getting Sho to drink it. After a few minutes, Sho seems to calm enough that he climbs down from Satoshi’s lap to sit by himself. Nino did not appear yet, seemingly still trying to get Jun to calm down. Satoshi wonders if he should take a look, in case Nino needs his help.
“Don’t you want to see Nino nii-chan?” Sho voiced out besides him.
“Un. Maybe I should. Will you stay here?”
“Yes.”
“Okay, I’ll be back in a few minutes.”
“Un!”
Satoshi goes to the direction of Jun’s room.
“Jun-kun, why are you sad?”
