I'd second the suggestion for "sweetie" and nominate "love" as well. Other great terms include honey, sweets, chewtoy, muffin, pet, slave and/or that person I'm attached to.

And to go good and period use 'leman' or 'lemon'(?) a fine Chaucer era English term which is gender neutral.
Tho people might wonder why you have a craving for fresh fruit... (go see Timebandits if you don't get this joke)

i liked the show. i think the guy playignanatoliy was good, but wht do i know about music :) he made me cry.
