Hulloh! Can I offer you a drink? No thanks, I'm good.
See what I did there? That was my good cop line just now. So what are you, the good cop or the bad cop? You do that stuff in teams though, right? So... whatever is available, I don't care. I guess my bad cop impression would come off as more sincere though, as in 'please don't leave me in a room with her or she'll eat my eyes!' I can fake (or be) psychotic and threatening bad better than I can fake (or be) compassionate and sincere good and criminals? Some aren't worth that much effort.
Hey, I'm going to Hawaii for two weeks, could you maybe take care of my plants while I'm gone? I... guess? I have to warn you though, plants practically die at the sight of me, so maybe you'd want to look for somebody else.
Oh and, my daughter? Could you please watch my daughter while I'm away? Y-what?!?! What the fuck made you even think that asking me was a good idea? And I'm not talking about my exaggerated NO EFFING WAY, I'm talking about the terrible things that could happen to your daughter if I said YES. Now don't get me wrong, I'm reliable enough, but I... well, let's put it this way: If I was trying to make your daughter breakfast the cereals would probably explode. Oh and also? Really not much of a kid-fan here. So no. That's a NO and trust me, it's in everyone's best interest.
So... on a scale from 0 to 10, how eccentric is your wardrobe? Awww. It used to be I'd say a pretty solid 9, but I've toned it down recently, though some say it still stands out, so maybe somewhere between 4 and 6, depending on the occasion.
And how do you think this question will help us determine your true personality? I DON'T KNOW. Your questions are weird and I don't like you. Go away.
Speaking of wardrobe, are you really a wolf in sheep's clothing or is it more the other way round? It would have to be the other way round because wolves are larger than sheep and I prefer a loose fit.
Speaking of wolf in sheep's clothing, what is your favourite saying or metaphor? I've recently taken to crossing that bridge when I come to it which at least temporarily stops me from worrying about everything two years in advance.
Speaking of speaking, how good are you at creating awkward silences? Finethankyoufine. Accidentally... doesn't happen so much anymore, I've gotten pretty good at handling that skill, though I can still make people go O__O on demand. What happens sometimes is that with people I don't care about I just won't engage in conversation. So they can ask me all they want, but I'll never give an answer that's longer than necessary or ask anything in return which can make the conversation unpleasantly slow for the other party.
Do you even think silence is that awkward? In other words, do you feel the need to always talk about or say something? No. Silence is sexy. Of course being with people you like there are some occasions where it just feels very appropriate to talk or inappropriate not to, but overall I don't need the constant talking and sometimes I even downright loathe it, like when I'm in a museum or such and really just trying to get the art in and somebody constantly is all 'Oh look at that, isn't that great? Oh hey, doesn't this painting look interesting?' over me and expects me to reply. That's... eww.
And the flames went higher...
Do you think jaded would be a good word to describe you? Maybe sometimes, maybe about some things, but overall it's more of a... well, either I'm not or I never had any illusions to begin with. My expectations are usually met, so I don't get tired or discouraged easily, but maybe lowering my expectations over time (maybe without even noticing) counts a little too.
Do you think others think jaded would be a good word to describe you? They say cynical, so it's somewhere along those lines, but not exactly, because I doubt any of them thought I ever had any sort of youthful enthusiasm or optimism to begin with.
Just how compassionate are you, dear applicant? Zero-ish. Never actively compassionate, but sometimes willing not to be an arse when it counts.
And how compassionate do others perceive you to be? Not even the ones who have a better opinion of me would describe me as compassionate. Helpful and supportive maybe, a select few of them, but compassion + me isn't happening in anyone's book.
How willing are you to sacrifice yourself for a greater good? Not very.
And how willing are you to sacrifice others for a greater good? Not that I'd mind per se, but I don't think that's my call to make. Plus I'd be careful about sending people off to play with fire involuntarily.
Does a thing like 'the greater good' exist anyway? My take on it is that no, not in the morally superior sense and you're fucking kidding yourself if you believe that, but it does in the simple sense of 'the course of action that benefits a larger number of people'.
And is there anything good on TV tonight? There was supposed to be a quiz show today, but it got cancelled. Well, now it's already 2 am anyway and I'm filling this out half-asleep, hoping something interesting will come of it. Sorry, I haven't been watching much TV lately.
When asked if you believe in God, what is your answer? That depends entirely on who's asking, possibly also on why. My default answer for anyone who's just trying to waste my time will always be yes, because it's important to believe in yourself followed by walking away. I also use that one if I don't feel like talking, but if I'm in the mood and if I think the one asking is up for it then I'll of course gladly explain my actual opinion on the subject.
When asked if you've got a penny to spare, what is your answer? Probably yes, assuming I actually do have a penny to spare. You may need it more than I do and I appreciate the straightforward approach.
And it burns burns burns...
...the ring of fire. THE RING OF FIRE! Uh, sorry. I just felt like finishing that line and didn't have a section left to use it. What's your favourite song to sing to by the way? And I mean actually SING to, listening doesn't count unless it just comes with the deal. Maybe Joining You by Alanis Morissette on rare occasions, but I'm not much of a sing-along type, sorry. [Edit: I just caught myself enthusiastically singing along to Samurai - EAV, so I thought I should let you know.]
Oh hey, I just remembered that this is a survey about SILENT HILL, so... who were you stamped as in your regular application and how do you think they do and don't correspond to your personality? Oh. Yeah. There's a hell lot of Vincent around in my stamps, so there's got to be some merit in that. I'd definitely go for his quotes. Best stuff ever. The actions I can see as well, probably in the... technically supportive, but still too vague and suspicious to be endearing sort of way and throwing in a bit too much fun at teasing people. What not? Well, if I'm not about fun and leisure I tend to be more straightforward than that and tackle problems myself instead of guiding people into doing my job. That's either independent or paranoid for you, take your pick.
And about this uh, movie thing we're doing here... which Silent Hill movie character do you consider yourself LEAST like and why? I don't want a Christabella stamp. I usually don't go for what others tackle as the "religious nut" in my least like section because for me being passionate, insanely passionate if you have to, about the things you believe in has its merits. Chrissie however... she just seems so hollow. Not even believing, just having no idea what to do, following her pattern for God knows what reason and... maybe even doing all of it just to stay in control of something. I'm sorry, I can't explain, but being her just feels uncomfortable.
Alright, last question! 'Silent Hill : The Sequel' - what does this movie need to make it a success in your eyes? Christopher realising that his family is gone for good and eloping with Officer Gucci - then cue hot mansex. There was a sane answer here. It's gone now.
Anything else you'd like to add? No.
