Slightly random question... I have a lot of stuff - like old school reports, photographs, letters, cards, etc - from over the years that I definitely want to keep. But I don't really know how to store. What do you do with your stuff of this sort?

I'm in the process of sticking it all in a filing cabinet.

As Conflux said, in cardboard boxes, inc some archive boxes, in the loft. Mine are a bit better labelled as to content and era than his, and have been sifted more frequently. I try to keep stuff that Might Be Useful, Stuff I Might Want to Display, and Stuff that Only Has Nostalgia Value separately.

I have some in shoeboxes, and the overflow in carrier bags. Eventually, I plan to have it all in boxes as they are more attractive and easier to store. It's all fairly random - not sorted by date order or anything.
