It figures that as soon as I get hired at Starbucks, I find out that Peet's Coffee & Tea is hiring. Also, Sometimes I wonder if 8 also thinks that the fact that I have ended up in many of the same jobs she has held [hostess, courtesy clerk, cost plus world market slave, starbucks barista] is interesting. Or does she find it unnerving

it is interesting, but not unnerving. i went to a peet's job fair before i went to the starbucks one, and had an interview, but they didn't seem very excited about me. it's harder to get hired there for younger people. whereas starbucks will hire highschool kids. i figure i can move up to peet's if i feel so inclined.
also i'm sorry i wasn't able to get down to sc before i came to carlsbad (yesterday), but i think james and i will stop by on our way back. we also might go to the aquarium to see the octopus if you want to come. it would be the 14th or 15th, probably. i'll keep you posted.

how about we move on to peets at the same time

I would love to come with you to the aquarium, however, I am probably moving into my new place around then. How about a moving party instead?
